What I never liked about this Sandberg love was that he deserved the managerial job.

 

Meh, he's probably just as good at it as anyone else, since it's such an overrated job. He's getting an interview from John Mozeliak for a reason. I don't really have a problem with Theo wanting more experience or "his guy", since he'll be working with him on a daily basis. Working relationships are important (which is why Theo will probably show Z the door, no doubt because Theo is racist I guess). Besides, Sandberg brings a lot of unnecesssary baggage with him to Chicago that he wouldn't bring elsewhere. Not a big whoop.

I think it is hilarious that some people got their delicate feelings hurt over his HOF speech. Here is a guy that busted his ass off his whole career, played without performance enhancing drugs, in a period where it was getting out of control, and was by all accounts a great teammate. In other words, he was a pretty damn good role model and a great player.
