At least we get Gus Johnson calling our game this week. If the O/U is set at 100, I might still bet the over.

 

Still going to win at least 10? Not sure on O/U this week but next week vs Baylor will surely be at least in the 80's. 1st to 60 wins that game.

i'm hoping they won't televise any of the KU games for the remainder of the year.

 

I'm sure in a couple of years the NCAA will mandate this for basketball too.

 

ETA: Does the Summit League have a TV contract?

 

On Versus U

 

Shut it. Versus is home to at least 1 ND game this year. KU can find it's own second...er...third rate channel.

I don't believe that starts until next year.

Beat the pants off somebody like Alabama did while they play Ole Miss or Kentucky or whomever and you'll jump right back.

At this point I think 9-3 is best case scenario, so to get to 10 we would have to win the bowl. Not looking good right now.

OSU in more trouble. A couple of the tat-5 (Herron and Posey) are suspended indefinitely because they were being paid for work not done at summer jobs. Also, OSU won't be hearing from the NCAA in the next couple weeks regarding the school's punishment with all this mess because of all these new allegations. So the cloud over OSU will hang a while longer. Sounds like they won't know anything until December at the earliest.

 

They are going to get murdered by Nebraska this weekend.

Local radio guys don't know why Herron and Posey haven't been booted from the team already. Multiple infractions of NCAA rules and already missing at least half the season.

 

I listened to the AD's press conference, and he says he's still confident that they wont' get hit with lack of institutional control, because, in his words, "these aren't systemic issues, but individual occurrences with specific players and one booster'

AU will likely play without their #1 and #2 receivers against Arkansas, Emory Blake and Trovon Reed...both injured.

LaMichael James just went down with a serious arm injury. Very ugly.

It was a dislocated elbow. Jenn Brown tweeted that James popped his elbow back in by himself. I saw a clip of him on SportsCenter this morning at the postgame press conference. That's one tough SOB.
