So Norris Cole was actually picked for the Heat, who traded up to get the 28th pick from Minnesota, who originally got it from the Bulls. This is wacky.

 

To make it more wacky that pick was Miami's originally. So it went from miami to toronto (for bosh), to the bulls (for james johnson), to the twolves, back to the heat.

The Heat's 31st pick and a future 2nd rounder apparently.

Perhaps tampering rules only apply to players that are property of another team? I really don't know. Seems awfully shady.
