not sure i'm a fan of giving the other team an out with a guy whose obp is almost .500

What? No way. The rookie of the month or whatever the [expletive] was up next. Clearly that's proof that Darwin Barney is the guy that gets [expletive] done and will forever.

When is the rookie of the month press conference?

Right after the "batting Starlin Castro 3rd makes Mike Quade the Manager of the Universe for Life" press conference.

Granted I've only seen bits and pieces of the Cubs most of the year, but it seems like Castro has been a popup machine lately.

I'm aware his season line is still better than last years tho, but he's certainly cooling off a bit.

Len: "Carroll has faced Kerry Wood twice in his career and he's walked both times."

Cue Woody striking Carroll out on three pitches.

Teams seem to have realize that he's going to be able to attack prety much any fastball you send his away so they're giving him a lot more offspeed stuff. Definitely going to be a big period of adjustment, and it would be nice if Quade quit dicking him around and just left him in the #2 spot.

That's a major league stall job by the Dodgers.

Infielders talk to the pitcher.

Catcher talks to the pitcher.

Pitcher steps off once.

Pitcher turns and wheels towards second.

Manager finally comes out to remove pitcher but talks to him until the ump comes out before taking the ball.

Thanks - figured it must be something like that
