From what I've been able to notice recently, it seems as though scouting reports are now telling pitchers to throw outside, just off the plate, early in the count to Castro. He seems to swing at a lot of these pitches and foul them off, putting him in a quick hole, or turn them over and ground out weakly to the left side.

Just needs to work on his discipline more, certainly the weakest part of his game along with the random fielding mistakes.

Right: more pitches outside, more offspeed pitches. This is going to be a key period of adjustment for him since most teams are likely going to have realized he's a fastball-murderin' machine.

I'll be there. So please play Starlin Castro unlike the only game I went to last year.

And maybe Dempster can give up fewer than an earned run an inning tomorrow.

I'll be there too. Only my second time at Dodger Stadium. Hopefully Dempster doesn't get blown up.

And hopefully neither of us get beaten to a coma by gangbanger Dodger fans.

Wow, I felt like I was at Police convention. I was in the Club level so it was quiet, but in the sections below us, close to the field, there were uniformed Police officers in every section. They were everywhere!

I'm jealous. Dodger Stadium is on my list of future destinations, but probably not until 2013 since a honeymoon probably has to take priority over my Cubs trip next year. :-)

It's a beautiful park - definitely worth the trip. Night games are cool, you can see the mountains in the outfield before the sun goes down. Temperature was perfect last night - I'm out here for work and it was in the 40's and overcast in Milwaukee yesterday, haha!
