Is this the game where Russell inexplicably only gives up 1 hit in 6 innings thereby cementing his spot in the rotation for the next 2 months?

Hey..... upload me some of whatever you're smoking, eh? ;)

Based on the pitching matchups, the Cubs only have a chance to win the third game of the series, but they'll probably get swept.

Who cares, I'm enjoying life not wasting time thinking about the Cubs like you idiots

This isn't going to be a good series. Why Russell gets another start is beyond me. It's like giving away a game every 5th day.

They probably figure we aint beating Kershaw, so why bother. What difference does it make if we lose 4-1 or 12-1?

LOL..Still throwing Russell out there to start. Anyone in Double or Triple A can do no worse than this guy..Unreal they keep puting him out there.

So are we going to get Baker in the 3 spot tonight again? This will probably be the game Quade puts Soriano 3rd and Kershaw will make him look like a little leaguer and we never see him there again this season.

I'd be just fine with Baker in the 3 spot. Destroys left-handers and has hit very well against Kershaw (albeit only 11 AB's). Soriano would be another fine choice. It wouldn't be awful if Byrd or Soto was there either.

Soto batting 5th? Nice!

I'm glad Russell is going tonight since I am not going to tonight's game.

A little off topic, but I have the Brewer v. Brave game in ATL on. There's easily less than 10,000 people at the game.

I bet they're all so excited about watching the Hawks get their brains beat in by DR

Completely forgot the Hawks and Bulls were playing tonight. I doubt that's much of a factor to the Braves attendance since the Hawks aren't supported much at all and it seems like in general ATL does a terrible job of supporting their pro teams (IDK what kind of support the Falcons get??).

Oh yeah, I was kidding. ATL has no fans, mostly transplants

But seriously, Bulls by 13 tonight

I think Bulls win by 8-10, but it's one of those games where it seems they are up more and it's never really in doubt.

Gameday is showing a very tight strike zone. Is that the case tonight?

So far yes. Man Pena is so freaking close to getting one out. He has missed 2 homeruns the last 2 days by less than 10 combined feet.
