Thank God for the NBA's horrible scheduling as it allows Rose to get an extra day to rest his ankle.

I keep wondering why the Bulls are coming out sloppy and unfocused every game. Used to think it was a sign of a young overconfident team, but wondering if they are getting that vibe from their young overconfident coach.

 

My opinion is that Thibs wants to win without changing everything just because its not working. There have been a couple adjustments, but nothing drastic, whereas the Pacers have played 4 different basketball games, adjusting where needed.

That was a hideous play, but Boozer actually had a good look at it.

 

The fast-break block by Collison (along with Rose not leaving it for Boozer like I thought he should have) is what saved the game. Just take Game 5, please.

Yeah, watching the Bulls makes me crazy for some reason. I almost don't even like it.

 

I'm not all that huge a basketball fan, so I can't figure it out. Even the Bulls dynasty teams -- I had to take breaks from even watching those games.

Basketball is the most frustrating sport to watch as a fan if you ask me. The opportunities for your team to do something stupid, for the refs to make a shitty call, and to generally make you want to break something are endless.

Yeah, it's only when I think the Bulls are good, too. Like this season.

 

If I don't think they're all that great, then I can watch them. If I think they've got a shot, then I go mental with every damn play. And there's no break from it because of the nature of the game.

Sure, it's not ideal. But if i'm in a tough playoff series and I'm the opposing coach I'm perfectly fine putting the game on Luol Deng's shoulders.

It's not like LBJ is going to completely shut down Rose, and Deng's going to have to do all the scoring. Plus, the Heat aren't going to risk that much on the offensive end to have their 2 best players in tough size/speed matchups on the defensive end. I think Rose/James and Deng/Wade is an unnecessary risk for the Heat when they can just flip-flop and have a better defensive matchup both ways.
