wow, that statement by weber was absolutely heartbreaking. i think he loved to coach illinois a little too much.

 

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch it. It's long been apparent how invested he is in the University and the program and it would have been wonderful if he could have been a "lifer" type coach. But for everything he brought in terms of sincerity, honesty and loyalty, he lacked in the ability to discipline and coach from a strategic standpoint, and it's a damned shame.

Yep. Some pretty horrible decisions by Hardaway and Douglass. Hardaway can drive a person insane with some of his decisions.
