It's even more glaring today, if any game called for playing the bench it was this game. Why not throw players in waves at an NU team committed to only playing 6 and run them ragged?

Why not play a zone when they ran 5 guards out and cover the three point line, why not recruit a point guard more than once every five years? Oh because hes a clown and in over his head. Can't wait til the smug bastard is gone.

He's an arrogant smug man. This is the end and he knows it. We will get a lot more amazing interviews from him in the coming weeks. He's already took two shots at the fans this year. I'm sure more are coming. If you didn't want pressure, don't take this job, that's why the 1.7 million a year comes along with it.

Some Purdue fans are calling for Painter's head already.

 

I don't know, it's kind of hard to lose two NBA players and compete the next year unless you're one of the elite programs. Hummel isn't the same, and I'm not sure pre-injury Hummel could've done a lot better with this team full of role players that can't hit their free throws. If things hold up the 12' and 13' recruiting classes are immensely better than anything Purdue has pulled since the 07' class.

 

I don't expect big things next year, but at least it will be fun watching the 4 top 100 freshmen play a lot of minutes. I don't think Painter will be stubborn and sit them all. I don't think he'll have much of a choice, I only see two seniors and two juniors that will get large minutes and I don't those four will all start.
