It's a positive article, written by Illinois. But nothing in there makes me think it looks "really good." Honestly, I thought bigger programs were recruiting Nunn. Illinois may stand a chance against the likes of DePaul & Providence.

yeah, the writer of the article made up the part about melvin nunn wearing the illini hat and all those quotes about both nunns thinking of jerrance howard as family.

the hat isn't the only proof i mentioned, it simply adds to the quotes by nunn and dad.

 

and you seem to be implying that nunn isn't as good because he isn't being recruited by schools like kentucky. i assure you, that does not diminish his ability as a basketball player.

I agree if we aren't going up against the blue loose we have a better chance. Anyone does tho. With Howard in the fold we seem to be able to close a lot better than we were before.

I think Weber survives this season. Thomas will fix the ills of the football program first, and outside of missing the NIT I don't see Thomas pulling the trigger on both Zook and Weber in his first year on the job.

I hope not, we've always been a basketball school. It'll be a much quicker fix in basketball.

Yeah, I was shocked and disappointed this morning when I tried to click-through his site. I don't always read his blog and missed his earlier warning he was going to a pay-site. I use his site so much I think I'll have to end up paying the $20. Oh well; it's good content, hard to complain that it's not free.
