I'm in but have been trying for 10 minutes and can't buy due to high transaction volume.

Well I guess that hasn't changed. :banghead:

It seems impossible to buy the tickets to the 7/1 game. I have been getting high transaction volume errors for 20 minutes.

In fact, I can't buy anything after well over 100 tries. Is there a trick to get past the high transaction volume error?

i got 4 to the sat. may 14th game against the giants...sec 105, row 3, seats 1-4...only $55 a piece...better than the $100 i spent last year on comparable seats to see the cubs beat the cardinals last july.

For those of you that bought tickets, did you have to fight through the high transaction volume error? I have tried literally 200+ times for several different games and I keep getting that message no matter what I do.

no, i didn't get that error at all...you may want to close the page you're in and start over...sorry.

Wow, that was surprisingly easy once I got in to purchase tickets. I was able to buy my tickets on the first try.

I finally got through. I switched to a very low-demand game in September, then chose to "select different seats" and went back to the original game I was trying to buy. I got my 4 bleacher tickets to Cubs/Sox on 7/1. That was painful.

Seems like when you get stuck behind the 3 dots the wait time is ridiculous. When you get going it isn't so bad if an hour could be called not so bad. :banghead:

I love the 400 section

Me too. The upper deck (especially Upper Deck Box) is highly underrated.

It used to be a good value. Now, if anything, it's probably overpriced.

I'm in checking out the opening day tickets. Look to be slim pickings already. Maybe field box outfield seats would work.

Yea I agree with that. I like the 500 section as well but seems like they are even starting to get high. But the view from the 400 and 500 section is really good. Probably my 2 favorite places to sit.

The last few years I've only sat in the 500 level infield. Of course, I didn't go to any games last year, but that is where I would have been if I did.

is 500 the seats right next to the bullpen? I sat there with a group of friends last year and it quickly overtook upper deck box as my favorite seats. we were maybe 10 rows from the bullpen. it was awesome.
