Uh-oh. Whitehurst looked a little like Whitehurst there.

Hyundai has crossed from amusing-annoying to full-on annoying now.

Both these teams are terrible. New Orleans is going to have to seriously look past either of them to lose.

The biggest statement NO could make in that game would be to score about 45 points in the first half and rest their starters. Might be the first time in history.

That happened between Jacksonville/Denver a long time ago.

Yes.

And on the Sunday before I go back to work I don't want to be reminded over & over that Christmas is gone. It's like someone reminding me of my hangover the morning after a night out. Just let me be.

Ahh, I didn't remember that.

Hey now, Orthodox Christmas is coming up.

I am in total agreement with Sagarin's ratings. Any other team in the NFC aside from Carolina would have won the NFC West this year. Any team in the AFC except maybe Denver and Cincy would have won the NFC West this year.

Alright Lions. Here's your chance. In 500 words or less, why my team deserves to be moved to the NFC West.

I honestly think the Saints could have their hands full at Qwest. Seahawks fans are going to be extra excited that they beat the system and found a way to have a horrible season and still make the playoffs.

That's assuming they win tonight, which I think they will.

No.

They lost to the Giants 41-7 at home. Lost to KC 42-24 at home. Lost to Atlanta 34-18 at home. Their only home or road game against a decent team that they've even hung in against was the fluky win against Chicago. They've lost 9 games by 14+ points.

Yeah Seattle is awful. It would literally be the biggest upset in NFL history if they were to beat the Saints. The line will probably be something like 17

Unfortunately for Seahawks fans, they don't get to take the field. Their dogcrap team does.

The fact that they make noise probably does affect some teams, but NO is used to a loud environment. I really don't think they'd be all that affected by it, compared to some teams.

I think really poor weather would help, but now that I'm watching Seattle I'm remembering that they absolutely suck running the ball too.

I just don't think a loud crowd effects pro teams in any sports that much, especially really good pro teams.

It absolutely has an effect. There's a reason that there are more false starts in Seattle than anywhere else. They've been a pretty pedestrian team since the stadium opened, but they have a great home win percentage.

I don't think it'll be that high. Somewhere in the 13-14 range. High but not unheard of for a playoff game. I believe the Packers Patriots Super Bowl was 17.
