The Raiders are going to finish the year 6-0 in their division but 0-6 against the rest of the AFC lol.

I can't imagine there are many other instances of a team going undefeated in its division but missing the playoffs.

Oakland also doubled it's point total from last year.

The Saints can screw off after the last two weeks.

y'all just need to take care of your own business. Quit crying about the Aints.

True. There's something wrong with us when I'm not confident in a "win and in" situation.

Weird, the Bears were the last team this year to beat the Lions. They finish the year beating the Packers, Bucs, Dolphins and Vikings.

Especially when the biggest concern for your opponent is not getting its QB killed.

If you're not confident in the team beating a Bears team with nothing to play for than you won't be confident that we'll have to win at Philly and probably Atlanta and Chicago (We haven't won a playoff road game in forever). That's helping me be calmer about this game.

Playoff football is better than no playoff football though.

first 4-game win streak since '99

yeah, that's right, we didn't win 4 straight for the entire decade

This is what I'm not understanding right now. I've seen so many Packers fans pessimistic about today's game, yet when you mention road playoff games at Philly and Atlanta we get the whole "we dominated Philly in Week 1 and should have beat Atlanta in Week 12" deal.

That shows the inconsistency of this team. We think we can beat anyone but can easily see us losing too anyone too. It's kind of what happens when you beat the Jets and almost beat the Patriots on the road but lost to teams like Miami and the Lions.

I think the mindset for those types of fans is that half the battle is just getting into the playoffs. If we do reach the playoffs, I think people won't be expecting as much and probably hoping that we play pretty loose in that situation.

I'd be just as nervous next week as I am right now if we win this game.

Vikings looked much better against the Eagles than the Lions.

I find that to be interesting.

I expected it. Last week they were well rested, playing a national tv night game vs. a playoff team in front of a good crowd and knowing they had a good shot at getting Leslie the job.

Compared to playing on a short week against a last place team in a dead stadium, hours away from vacation and being fairly sure that Frazier already had the job.

Apparently Tom Cable isn't likely to return to the Raiders.

huh, we were also pretty sure our coach would keep his job and hours away from vacation

I just think it's interesting how well the Lions have played at the end.

And also it's interesting that Philly just couldn't stop Webb, who then looked pretty pedestrian against the Lions.

Webb isn't looking forward to vacation. Every game is a Super Bowl for the kid right now, you can trust in that.

And for the Lions, playing in a game with the chance to not finish in last place is like one of the organization's 5 most important games of the century.

It wasn't really that the Eagles couldn't stop Webb. He made a few plays and was good overall but the defense and run game were very good.

Not having Sidney Rice today didn't help him. Plus Berrian wasn't healthy and it was a surprise he played. He had a sure TD that he overthrew and threw a bad INT across his body when he could have run. Other than that it was a lot of checkdowns and screens.

you sound like a moron here

we still did finish in last place, and held out Calvin, who was active, as a precaution

Apparently Tom Cable isn't likely to return to the Raiders.

That's kind of surprising.

And really bad. I don't know that Cable is a great coach, but they've been getting much better since he's been there. He should stay on.

They've been playing pretty well all season, they just haven't been winning. It's evening out now a bit.

Must be some sort of conflict between him and Al Davis. Can't see why they'd let him go now.

I've been hearing that Al Davis doesn't like him for some odd reason, so that's got to be it.

I think it may have something to do with Cable supposedly not liking Hue Jackson.

Can Al Davis just die already?

Hey, my football team just had, by far, it's best season since 2002 and appears to be going in the right direction. So naturally, I think I'm going to force out my head coach.

Screw you, Al. Just croak, baby.
