The storm is just getting its act together in the southeast. It's supposed to give us up to 10 inches in some areas in North Carolina, then explode as it moves up the coast. New York is under a blizzard warning, and I'd think Philadelphia would get it hard too.

It was snowing all day in Minneapolis the day of the game. There might not have been a ton of snow on the field but it didn't help the condition of the field.

hard crappy field hurts both teams. there were defenders falling down everywhere too. it will be snowing pretty hard in philly at gametime and the wind will be like 30 mph, passing the ball with any distance (which the eagles enjoy doing) will be near impossible.

I presume that means it might be cancelled. They said 20" of snow -- possibly just too much to get the field cleared.

Postponed to Tuesday night. Disappointing.

 

It'll still be on NBC, reportedly, so that's going to do a lot of damage to ESPN's ratings for the Champs and Insight bowls.

The postponement could indirectly help the Bears. With the Eagles having to play next Sunday on two days short rest it could increase the chances of the Cowboys pulling the upset (that is, if Dallas can find a kicker that doesn't miss extra point attempts).
