Oakland (6-6) @ Jacksonville (7-5)

I really have no idea what to expect out of this game. I could see the Raiders win by two touchdowns but I could also see them lose by four.

Big game for KC@SD this week. Can pretty much wrap up the division with a win.

I'm rooting for you. A KC loss would obviously help the Raiders but I'd rather see KC in the playoffs than San Diego and SD has a very easy remaining schedule. A KC win officially eliminates San Diego from the division since they'd be three back with three to play and KC swept the season series. Since Oakland swept SD also, the Chargers would also lose a three-team tie. I'll just have to hope the Raiders take care of business the next couple weeks while KC gags against St. Louis and Tennessee.

I don't want the Chargers moving to LA. I want a different team moving here so I have 2 different chances to see the Bears in a 100 mile radius.

Albert Haynesworth suspended without pay for the final 4 games for conduct detrimental to the team.

Maybe he could use that signing bonus to buy some Preparation H to cure all that butthurt he has.

It's too bad Carolina can't play bad teams every week, just because it's funny to have the weekly fantasy stampede for the defense we are going against.

Any chance the Vikings new stadium will be outdoors, or will you continue to play nancy pants football?

Up in the air. Originally the idea was for an outdoor only stadium but then you lose any chance of hosting the Super Bowl, Final Four and any kind of events/conventions/concerts when the weather isn't great. So then having a retractable roof became the main target but that's more expensive to build and get the funding for, which is the main issue.

"It's funny. I've been around this game a long time. That was the worst defeat in my coaching career that I've been a part of," Ryan said of the Monday night loss to the Patriots. "But there's another defeat that I think was probably just as humiliating, just as bad ... and that was the '85 Bears against Miami."

"I hope history repeats itself," he said. "The goal of the Chicago Bears was to win a Super Bowl. And that's our goal. Whether people like it or not, I really don't care. That's our goal. That's our mission going into this season.

What an inexplicable comparison.

I figured getting his ass kicked would shut that windbag up. Guess not. That's horrible.

Does anyone care anymore about Brett Favre? I find it amazing that he still gets front page news on every sports outlet. I was watching Sportcenter today and they cut to his press conference for like 10 minutes where he was answering idiotic questions about how it hurts when he does this or that.

It's absolutely insane. I mean, the media must be pandering to people who actually care about this, right? The media isn't so stupid as to keep pushing stories that nobody cares about, right?

So who actually still gives 2 s@#$s about Brett Favre? I don't understand it.

That was a dumb comparison, but it serves his purpose. He's not an NFL analyst, he's in charge of one team. And I can't help but like his style.

The madness ends for good after Week 17, so they're trying to squeeze every last drop of him they can. Plus, I think they're just looking for excuses to keep Ed Werder employed.

Don't be so sure. I'd put even odds on offseason talk of him at least considering coming back.

So Haynesworth gone. Maybe now they can discuss what a terrible decision by Shannahan it was to switch to the 3-4. Wash had a pretty good top ten defense last year, now they are dead last. Haynesworth is a baby, but its not on him for their terrible failures on the defense.

With Arizona or Miami being the likely destination.
