Bull announcers have always been pretty homeristic and over the top. King's fun to listen to though.

Dominant ball handlers/penetrators are better suited for the NBA game. More space because of the farther 3 point line, no true zones, etc.

According to Hollinger's ratings, 5 of the currently top 6 teams in the NBA are in the East (Heat 1, Magic 2, Celtics 4, Hawks 5, Bulls 6).

 

Of course, there's a huge dropoff after that in quality, with only the Knicks a decent team, so the West is still better overall.

 

According to Sagarin's points rating, the Lakers are in the mix as well, with the Bulls 6th and the Hawks 9th after Dallas and New Orleans.
