I don't know if he is or not but he very well might be.

 

If he keeps at this pace is he in the discussion for best player in the league? (I don't want to be a homer here or anything and I only watch the Bulls on a regular basis so I'm asking people who do if he should be in that discussion this year.).

 

I'm enjoying this though. I was too young to watch Michael evolve so watching, not that he's Jordan or will be, but watching Rose evolve like this has been incredibly fun.

I've actually been able to watch their last 2 games and it was almost comical how open he was on most of the threes he took. That shot he drilled from the corner was ridiculous. And TT is right, if he develops that consistent of a jumper, holy crap, how do you defend a guy that quick and strong?

Sure that would be understandable if superstars actually had to draw contact in order to get a foul called on them. I understand that he's not going to get to the line as much as someone like Wade or LeBron, but I've seen too many drives to the hoop where he is going right through traffic and getting hammered and not getting calls. If you watched enough Bulls games, you'd understand the difference between when Rose does his "avoid contact" drives, and when he goes right at the hoop and is aggressively defended. It's not as black and white as "Rose avoids contact and others do" as you seem to suggest.
