Of course, the counterpoint are guys like Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce who are teddy bears, but really [expletive] good at sports.

Pierce is acceptable. He used to be my favorite star in the NBA and that 01-02 Celtics squad that battled wife beating Jason Kidd was one of my favorite non-Bulls team ever. I even went to 4 playoff games that year.

And then something called Kevin Garnett came along and all the sudden Pierce turned into the wheelchair toting fool he is today.

My super pessimistic prediction:

Bulls/Celtics/Heat all in deadlock heading into final game.

Bulls clinch #1 seed with win vs. Nets, but lose in embarrassing fashion, dropping them to the #3 seed.

Our collective hate for the Nets grows exponentially

Now, scowly is good. The bigger an [expletive] he becomes the greater he will be.

Case in point: Michael Jordan.

Tiger, Ali, Ruth, etc., etc..

I'm wary of Pujols because he's so great yet apparently also a great person. He must be hiding something really horrible.

Didn't he speak at a tea party rally or something?

Or La Russa dragged him to one, which of course makes La Russa that much worse

carlos boozer's true hollywood stories:

"Supposedly, Prince changed the front gate to the Prince sign, he changed the master bedroom to a hair salon, he changed the streaming blue waters that led to the front door to purple water, he knocked out walls, he changed the molding on top of the ceiling. Booz was livid. So pissed off, so angry ... He put his Purple Rain stamp on it ... Booz was like, 'I was getting ready to go over there and beat this little man down.' And dude was just like 'Here, Boozer, here is a little check for about a million, it'll take care of everything, get it back the way you want it.' And Booz was like , 'This little man is cool as hell.'"

the only way that it could have been any better is if prince would have actually served him pancakes.

Game, blouses.

I maybe would kill to see footage of Prince playing basketball. Both Kevin Smith and Charlie Murphy verified on separate occasions that he has insane game.

Again, if the Bulls win tonight, they get the tiebreaker against the Lakers should the two teams meet in the Finals.

"Absolutely not. They were saying things about us that were untrue," Laimbeer said. "We played a certain style of basketball but they took it to a personal level calling us names, trying to say we're bad people. Time has proven just the opposite. We were a very model group as a matter of fact. We were not in trouble, you never read about law enforcement with any of us, and we didn't take kindly [to the Bulls' talk]. You can say we were a physical basketball team but don't attack the person like they did."

this totally makes me feel better about the pistons walking off the court, they weren't doing it because they were bad sports, but because jordan probably treated them in that series like he treated chamillionaire, both on and off the court.

he most likely literally stuck his wiener in them.

No they were just mad because Jordan didn't get touched all series and still shot 578 FTAs. /SSR

You don't take very general references to Michael Jordan and turn it into complaining about how MJ got all the calls from the refs?

I haven't gotten the sense that the Bulls have cared at all this game and they are winning easily. Of course it's hard to look too passionate when the other team takes a stupid jump shot early in the shot clock or tries to isolate the defender every possession. You don't really have to try.

The crowd is so quiet in MN. The annoying sound effects and Boozer are all I've heard so far.

Yeah this is like a mic'd up segment but he's not mic'd up.
