Nice win. It'd be nice to win the next two and then pray we can do something on the circus trip.

Yeah, I like how we match up with the Warriors and Wizards. Go 5-3 and then tread water on the circus trip. About when is Boozer due back?

I'd rather have Afflalo than any of our SGs.

I've thought we should've been targeting him for awhile now.

I've heard at the end of the trip. Do we have a chance to win any of those game aside from Houston and Sacramento? And then we get Orlando and go out to Boston after the road trip. This isn't going to be any fun.

@PHX is winnable. Problem with the Sacramento game is it's the 4th game in 5 nights. If we're any good we'll take one out of the games @ Dallas, @ LAL (yeah right), and @ SA.

Definitely. Of course he seems really popular with the Denver organization.

UC crowd is a bit disappointing in general but it can get loud during big moments and in td playoffs. Weekday games are usually quiet as hell compared to weekends. I've been to a playoff game in Boston and regular season games in Phoenix and Boston and the UC crowd is a little worse than Phoenix and in the playoffs comparable to Boston.

noah with 19 boards, now averaging an even 15 on the season.

I'm sorry...I can't give him up in addition to everything else for Melo.

Well, the other thing is -- Denver's the team in distress over this thing. They're the ones with the player who wants out. Because of this, they're going to have to meet someone more than half way to unload him.

In short, they either deal with continued fallout or start dealing to get rid of him. It's really their problem. We shouldn't cut them any slack.

Hopefully they feel pressured to trade him at the deadline, and we can net him for a package like Deng, Taj, and multiple draft picks. Like you said, they're the ones that are going to be under pressure to make a move. What are the realistic odds of him re-signing with Denver? 15% or so at the high end? I would think by the deadline that they'd have a better understanding of what exactly he's going to do in the offseason and a trade is certainly better than coming away with nothing for him.

Good win last night. Today's practice should be nothing but FT shooting drills, though.

Still waiting to hear why any team would take Deng's contract with the an uncertain labor situation.

I'd have to think about it, but I'm almost positive there will be some sort of phasing in period with a new labor agreement. Teams would be making almost no moves if they didn't feel secure that they would have time to adjust to new rules. You certainly wouldn't have seen this FA bonanza with JJ getting a max deal, or Noah getting $12m/year extension, or teams clamoring for Anthony, with a contract extension part of any deal.

That said, the only moves I could see for Deng are in a situation like the Nuggets/Melo where Melo is backing the Nuggets into a corner, forcing the Nuggets to trade him or risk losing him, and he stands by his desire to only go to one of a few teams. In that scenario, the Nuggets have to choose between trading him to the Knicks for nothing, convincing Melo that the Nets are as good of a destination as New York, or looking to Chicago for a package that includes a player with probably half the contract of Melo's but gives the team somewhat of an impact player to go along with trade picks and a young cheap player like Gibson. The Nuggets still save money in that deal and have the flexibility to look at a FA player in the offseason.

"Kevin Garnett will not -- will not -- get a Christmas gift from me," Noah said with a tinge of humor Wednesday on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "I don't like him."

The feud started, or perhaps escalated, during last season's playoffs. After Garnett was suspended for throwing an elbow at Quentin Richardson, Noah -- who was in Cleveland playing the Cavaliers -- chimed in that Garnett was a "dirty player."

The most recent incident was Friday night in Boston when Noah received a technical foul, and afterward said of Garnett: "He is who he is."

"He's a very mean guy," Noah said Wednesday. "Where's the love? None at all. Ugly, too."

Well if anyone knows anything about ugly, Noah is the guy.

Without question one of the best personalities in the NBA.

I love Noah on my team. If he was on any other team, I'd despise him. Garnett was once my favorite player in the post Jordan NBA. Now, he's like one of the most dispicable human beings walking the Earth.
