Pat Manelly was tired of being an afterthought in the NFL.

 

Until one day, he decided to take matters into his own hands.

 

That night he was no longer "Pat Mannelly, the long snapper"....he was "Pat Mannelly, the #$%( scrub that cost the Bears the $%&(#$# game!"

 

I think he got a bad rap for that. It's like Bartman, actually. There really were 12 men on the field. It's just that he didn't see the 12th man run off at the last second when he pointed at Garrett Wolfe to let him know the snap is coming to him.

Funny thing is, I don't think it ended up having an impact on the game did it? I know they got a FG that temporarily put the Packers head by a point, but either way the Bears were up 15-13 when Rodgers had that 50 yard TD with a minute left, so it still would have been a Packer win.

They can if they want to be. They have as much right to this thread as anybody else. The Bears thread has been split off to keep Bears discussion from overwhelming a general NFL thread. It's not a Bears fan only hangout. If there was another team that generated that much discussion they would be split off as well no matter where they were located.

I'm just throwing it out there now because it has become a serious problem in the past with Bears fans calling for suspensions/bannings for invading their thread.

Wow 3rd straight year that a message is sent to Tommie Harris. What a bum. On espn they said he's not injured, he's not suspended, they have just elected not to use him tonight. Obviously they are sending him a message because if they were just demoting him they would leave him active to backup his position.

LOL in your dreams. There is nothing to suggest the Bears are capable of beating Green Bay, let alone by double digits.

Also, Trent Dilfer says the Bears are "smoke and mirrors." That clearly means the Bears are legit.

I'm pretty sure we're not going to get any clear answers on why Harris and Aromashodu are inactive. Also, Idonije is starting at DE tonight instead of Anderson. I assume Anderson is playing though and will come off the bench.

This will be a weird game to watch because it doesn't affect the standings or the Vikings' position. I guess I can hope for injuries and with that turf, anything is possible.
