Winnable game @ Cleveland for the Chiefs. Banking the first 2 games would go a long way to getting to 6-8 wins.

It'd go about a third to a quarter of the way for sure...

Kind of stinks that Grant's going to be out this week, but Jackson should have a good day against a pretty bad Buffalo rush defense.

There's no such thing as an easy win in the NFL, so we better not treat this as such.

With Grant on my ffb team, I'm more concerned with the health of a Packer than I like to be normally. Unfortunately, it's not sounding very good...

As long as he's back after Week 6, I think we'll be all right. The schedule gets progressively tougher after that as we face Minnesota twice in four weeks, the Jets on Halloween, Dallas, and Atlanta.

I presume all of those teams will have figured some stuff out by then. However, it's interesting that none of them had a particularly good opening week.

Grant out for the year after suffering a broken ankle. [expletive].

Time to get on the phone with Dallas or Buffalo to try to get one of their backs.

Would any of them be that much of an upgrade over Brandon Jackson?

Still need a backup, even if you're using Jackson to start.

marion barber, perhaps????

That's the guy I'd be targeting. Either him or Marshawn. But how realistic is it for Dallas to trade one of their backs to another conference contender?

I find it hard to believe.

Once the Cowboys lose to the Bears and Texans, they'll be in more of a trading mood... ;)

This really sucks. I think we fall back behind the Vikings by losing Grant. This team looked poised to take the next step, but I doubt it will happen featuring Brandon Jackson.

I agree. This is a huge loss.
