i agree with everyone that scott has been atrocious. like i knew he would suck, but damn. eff an enforcer, bring up somebody who can play hockey. we didn't have any enforcers last year (eager/buff/burish aren't enforcers) and we won the cup.

sucks to go on the wings board and seeing everybody already sputing the "see what happens when you lose your entire team!!" nonsense already. then again, its my fault for checking red wings boards.

Let them say whatever they want. We won the Cup last year and no one can take that from us. And if anything, this year is to be an abberation. Once the plethora of draft picks and prospects catch up to the NHL level, theoretically we should be back at the top, if we aren't still there this year (remains to be seen).

Not like we didn't get off to slow starts the last two years, or anything...hey, those Wings have sure looked like worldbeaters in their last few games too!!!!

Scott actually might be useful tomorrow night when Buffalo starts taking cheap shots at Hammer.

well the Wings got thoroughly outplayed by Colorado the other night and got lucky to get a point and were trounced by the Stars last night so us Wings fans don't really shouldnt have much to say right now

Patrick Kane won't play for the Blackhawks on Friday night when they take on the Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena.

Kane remained in Chicago with an illness and coach Joel Quenneville said he's "hopeful" the winger will play Saturday night when the Hawks host the Buffalo Sabres.

To fill the roster spot, the Hawks recalled journeyman defenseman Jassen Cullimore on Friday. Cullimore is in his second stint with the Hawks and last appeared in an NHL game in April of 2009 with the Florida Panthers.

I read this morning that Jen Patterson was fired from CSN, didn't even know she was still on at the station. Now it says it's from banging Nick Boynton. I heard her on that obnoxious Mike North show and didn't see the appeal.

Eh...she was ok. The show was obnoxious because of North and Jiggetts, she was actually ok.

Plus I could not stand her voice. The female Chicago accent absolutely kills me now that I don't live there any longer.

You live in the New York area and you're complaining about Chicago's female accents?

Yeah, the vast majority of NYers don't have any discernible accent. It's out on Long Island and in Staten Island where the crazy ones are. South Jersey sounds like Philly (which is bad) and pockets of North Jersey have some. But seriously, I was stunned with how atrocious the Chicago accent sounds on women after living away from there for several years.

hossa and kopecky are pure magic this season. already 14 points and +11 between the two of them.

kopecky is a completely different player since the olympics. i don't know what happened, but he's turned into a really nice player.
