06/30 Pittsburgh (Lincoln) @ CUBS (Gorzelanny) 1:20, WGN TV

3 whole hits and no runs in 5 innings against a guy making his 5th major league start whose name is not Strasburg. In 2 1/2 games against the worst starting pitching staff money can buy, the Cubs have managed 4 runs. I guess they better find another scapegoat for the team's problems.

The important thing is they are loose and there's a whole new vibe now that Zambrano is gone.

They sure do give people plenty of ammo to make fun of them.

I thought that's how they were supposed to be after we got rid of Bradley.

That happened in the winter, giving them plenty of time to tightening up again before opening day.

So....Koyie Hill started again today? Is Soto hurt, or dead? Just so everybody knows (except for Lou, because he obviously doesn't know), the Cubs average 3.6 runs per game when Koyie Hill starts, and their winning % in those games is only .391. Didn't the Cubs just hire a stats guy to look into this stuff?
