3 whole hits and no runs in 5 innings against a guy making his 5th major league start whose name is not Strasburg. In 2 1/2 games against the worst starting pitching staff money can buy, the Cubs have managed 4 runs. I guess they better find another scapegoat for the team's problems.

The important thing is they are loose and there's a whole new vibe now that Zambrano is gone.

They sure do give people plenty of ammo to make fun of them.

I thought that's how they were supposed to be after we got rid of Bradley.

That happened in the winter, giving them plenty of time to tightening up again before opening day.

Great, they got a guy to sing the National Anthem who is reading it off a teleprompter.

The president?

Damn, somebody caught it before edit. That post never happened!

So, not that he sucks or anything, but how long until Cashner goes back down to AAA? Or how far out does the MLB team need to be before Cashner goes back to starting?

Again with the negativity. This thing ain't over yet.

Theriot with some sneaky power there...oops.

lol!

And, go easy on Cashner - if that guy we traded to you catches the ball, the inning goes differently.

So....Koyie Hill started again today? Is Soto hurt, or dead? Just so everybody knows (except for Lou, because he obviously doesn't know), the Cubs average 3.6 runs per game when Koyie Hill starts, and their winning % in those games is only .391. Didn't the Cubs just hire a stats guy to look into this stuff?

The Cubs have now become a bad Saturday Night Live skit...

"You got shut out by the Pirates again, Cubs. Really, Cubs. REALLY!"

"The Pirates are 9-3 against you, Cubs, and 18-48 against the rest of the league. Really. REALLY?!?!"

...and so on, ad nauseum.
