This is unrelated to whats going on at this moment, but... I just saw on ESPN that Theriot's OBP is higher than his SLG. WTF? Is that right? How the hell does someone with as many PA's as Theriot have a higher OBP than SLG?

Lou may actually be paying attention today. I fully expected him to leave Dempster in one pitch too long.

You and I both.

Wow WTF is up with this obessesion with Hill at Catcher. Lou is a moron, Soto isn't that bad defensively and Hill isn't exactly Johnny bench.

I take back my Lou praise today. How do you double switch Geo knowing he'll bat again?

Dont know why but i feel Lou just doesn't like soto personally. I mean seriously, he treat Soto on Defense as if he's Soriano on Defense.

what make's it even more frustrating is he doesn't seem to make the switch to get Geo's offense in the game.

I would've rather double switched Fontenot for Castro than Hill for Geo. The offensive disparity isn't near is much.

The thing that makes this a real problem is that his OBP coming into today's game was .313. If his OBP was .387 and his slugging was .359 (just like his 2008 numbers), then you're at least getting some value out of his. As it is now, he's not getting on base and he's not hitting for any extra-base power whatsoever.

Did Colvin just rob a HR or something? Gameday shows the out dot over the fence.

Caught it just at the wall

Thanks

Is this the first time anyone won that "Powerball" contest?

You are the most oblivious [expletive] person in the world

no, it is a fair question. Len and bob announce this name at the beginning of the inning to win 1100 powerball tickets is someone hits a homerun. I just want to know if any cub has hit a homerun during the particular inning.

Now, if you didn't know you didn't have to say a thing, but obviously it makes you feel better to use language that big people use in movies. When you graduate from high school feel free to engage in a conversation with adults in a mature manner.

Oblivious isn't "language that big people use in movies" to most people.

Its just a damn word.
