I beg your pardon, Silva has how many strikeouts?

Chance to break the game wide open against a struggling pitcher and after a big error and D Lee swings at a first pitch that I wouldn't call a good pitch to swing at and the potential big inning is thwarted. Lee was very patient his first two times yet is over anxious when the pitcher is trouble. I have trouble understanding the thought process of major league baseball players.

 

I have no problem swinging a first pitch fastball in the middle of the plate, but a pitch up and away doesn't seem like the ideal pitch to me.

I won't call this a pretty win if it stays this way, but any win against the Cardinals is a good one. Of course, if we throw this away I'm likely to break several things and admit myself to a hospital.
