I'm so sick of this crap. If your #2 hitter is too crappy to let him just swing away with no hit and run then put somebody else in there! Bat Fontenot second for all I care.

I'm surprised that Ottavino has been this good, so far. I thought right about now, he'd be in some trouble.

Me too, nothing good ever happens with your piece of crap rookies coming up. See Hart, Bo or Rod, J.

Alright, Theriot, no double play.

You got your wish, although I doubt you were hoping a CS would be the cause.

I take it back, I take it back!!!

I've always wondered whatever happened to John Rodriguez. He was good for that team for two straight seasons and no one else ever played him in the bigs again. Almost like the other teams know not to take Cards' numbers seriously.

At one point he was in Tampa's minor leagues and doing awful.

Josh.... it wasn't a hit and run, it was a straight steal.

Hey illiniguy, I think Castro's managing to keep his hitting slump from affecting his game. :D

Agreed, I just don't wanna see any excuses for the cajun midget to ever play shortstop for us again.

That's what I get for listening to the Fox announcers. They were pretty sure it was a hit and run, and as bad as that is, I couldn't believe we'd try for another straight steal against Molina.

Stop it with the [expletive] hit and runs Lou, you stupid turd.

I don't have a problem with trying to make something happen, but if it was a hit and run, Theriot is supposed to swing not take the pitch.

Eric Ludwick? Between that and the young Tony story, Tim is on top of his game today.

He also followed up with Ryan Lynquist, which I thought was a nice touch.
