We're having an actor from Sex and the City 2 for the 7th? This has to be another low.

The guest conductor tradition ran its course some time ago

Ya, like in May of 1998.

I'd say around game 2 of the 1998 season

So the gay guy from Sex and the City did the best rendition of Take Me Out To The Ballgame I've heard in awhile.

Which gay guy from sex and the city?

Sarah Jessica Parker.

Actually he might be a straight guy that plays gay. So not Mario Cantone.

He's a decent character actor in other stuff.

Are you kidding me? Wasting a baserunner on a straight steal?

Based on Lou's reaction when looking at Marlon and the fact Lee looked back, I'd say Marlon missed a hit and run sign.

Way to get the actor out of there quick Len!

Even still, you don't be taking risks like that when you've had 2 baserunners total today.

Not saying I agree with what Lou did, just letting you know it wasn't a straight steal. It also figures Marlon Byrd would take a pitch when he usually swings at everything.

Unless he's injured I applaud Lou for pulling Baker. At least make an attempt at it.

What happened?

Lou came out to talk to Baker who looked like he wasn't feeling well.

What happened?

He didn't move at all on the first single, still had his hands on his knees as it went by him, then left the field soon after

So he wasn't pulled for a bad play?

I'm not watching, but it sounds like Baker left because he had to poop. He didn't try on the ball to left, and then he asked for Lou and not the trainer, went straight into the clubhouse, and the coaches were laughing when Lou was discussing the lineup changes with the Umps.

From a friend watching the game. A hypothesis.
