Hey Lou and Hendry, next time keep the pitcher in the minor leagues for 3 or 4 starts before you bring him back and place your opening day starter in the bullpen.

you really want a good starter using 3 or 4 of his 32 starts in the minors?

Probably the easiest schedule in the majors so far. What's gonna happen when we play the Phillies and Colorados of the world?

Better than a good (albiet rusty) starter having 3 or 4 crappy starts in the majors before he gets his act together.

Win a couple, lose a couple, win a couple, lose a couple... I don't think it really matters who the Cubs play. The .500 mark just seems like an insurmountable hurdle.

Yeah I think Z probably could have handled a few more starts before we had to rush Ted back up. I mean if our staff is deep enough to put Zambrano in the pen, then by that logic shouldn't we have been able to afford a few more starts without ted?

I'm waiting to see the Soriano solo shot in the 7th to extend his homer streak. Otherwise, Morton is going to mow down this pathetic offense.

it's just a waste of money. you have a guy making $10M and he's pitched twice in the minors, and he's better than most of the other pitchers in the rotation. what's the point of keeping him in the minors?

Perhaps to get him ready for facing batters in the majors and not looking like he belongs in the minors?

Eh if we are gonna start worrying about wasting money with this organization, that would be the least of our worries.

Three hits in the inning and we haven't scored. Was Soriano's hit pretty hard?

It was a line drive between short and third, Lee had to hold and make sure it went through.

Dang that's what I figured.

Ah, the Sammy Sosa business model.
