Juan Pierre update

There aren't many players I dislike enough to do a thread like this, but JP is definitely one of them; he's currently hitting .187/.260/.187 with a .224 wOBA. That's right. Not a single extra base hit yet. He's stealing bases at a 75% clip so that's ok. But, he's lost his leadoff job and now bats 9th in the White Sox lineup.

Hilarious.

I once saw Pierre accidentally hit a young child in the head with an errant throw into the field level seats (while playing catch during batting practice). Not only was the kid not hurt, there wasn't any sign of a bump or a bruise.

He had to have been standing in foul territory to make it into the field level seats.

He was standing by second base, IIRC.

I don't hate Pierre. He showed up early and left late everyday. He worked hard to get where he is, from everything I have read.

I do hate Hendry for trading for him, however.

It's not like Nolasco has been anything special for the Marlins.

Look it sucked that we gave him away, but he hasn't been that great that we need to still bemoan losing him.

Yep. It was a bad trade, but he hasn't been "special"
