cousins annoys me. i think his vertical is about 2 inches more than zack randolph, who dunked once last year and his teammates were so surprised that they had to perform CPR on some of them on the bench. i think cousins is a bust, personally.

Zack Randolph is actually a pretty good comp for what Cousin's career could look like. It's like Bill Simmons wrote in an article, " I don't want to be the guy drafts Cousins, but I'd love to be the guy that trades for him in 6 years."

Weren't there like 15 guys who were the guy who traded for Randolph this past offseason?

No, just one. And it ended up being a great trade. He had a very good year.

I might've been thinking of Quentin Richardson. I know some overpriced load got traded to every team in the NBA this past summer.

Playing golf near Chicago, Michael Jordan was asked where he thinks LeBron James will sign this summer.

"Chicago," Jordan said.

Jay Mariotti recounts a conversation he had with Jordan after one of LeBron's first visits to the United Center in Chicago. Mariotti asked Jordan if LeBron could ever match Jordan's legacy.

"What do you think?" Jordan responded.

STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't not read what is posted there. It is an article written by Jay Mariotti. The title is "LBJ please don't go to Chicago." That is all you need to know about what Jay's topic is about.

Finally something I can agree with Mariotti on.

That and Ozzie Guillen's a prick.

Well somebody got to take over the East when the Celts start collecting their Social Secruity Checks, SSR. Might as be the Bulls.

And yes, Guillen's a prick, but I don't need Jay to tell me that.

A new name that could draw Bulls interest has emerged: Bucks assistant Kelvin Sampson, the former college coach at Oklahoma and Indiana. His work on Scott Skiles' staff has impressed.

:-))

If the Bulls end up with Kelvin Sampson, I will go out and buy a robot doggie, kick the crap out of it, go to the hospital due to a broken foot, get it to heal, and then break my foot off in the broken robot doggie's you know what.

In other words, Kelvin Sampson name in connection to the Bulls, should end right now.

I don't really think we need Calipari to bring Lebron here...

Frankly, it's a positive for us if he doesn't leave, because at this point I'm worried that the Cavs hire him and that that is enough to get him to stay.

I never thought about that, but yes that does seem like something the Cavs can do to try to get Lebron to stay.

Bosh supposedly has a list of teams that he wants to go to. One of them is the Bulls. This source says that he wants to go where LeBron goes with New York and Chicago as the cities named. He won't be able to get max money and be teammates with LeBron at any place outside of New York though. If the Bulls land both of them, they are the best team in the NBA next year.

Teams can sign and trade before the July 1 deadline correct? But you have to trade matching salaries?

Anyone else concerned that the Bulls might wait to get LeBron, might wait to get a coach until after July 1 with the intention of getting a coach he wants, and be left with a terrible coach because all of the good ones are snatched up and also not get LeBron? If I was Reisndorf I would be willing to go the Mark Cuban right and talk to LeBron now and just take the one million dollar fine.

how the heck would a sign and trade with matching salaries work for Bosh right now? They'd have to take back Deng and Hinrich to make that work, right?

I would assume a 3rd or maybe a 4th team would need to be involved.

WF22 said earlier that the salaries don't have to match in a S&T as long as you're under the cap. The problem is finding someone to take Deng. Who would want him at 3 more years at over 13 million a year?

Throw in Gibson and/or a good draft pick.

Someone on RealGM posted this one as a possibility...

Deng, Kirk, JJ, and Taj

Bosh and Hedo

IMO, the Bulls will need to include a third team in that deal if they have any desire to get both James and Bosh. The key will be to get rid of Hinrich and Deng as quickly as possible without taking on too much contracts.
