Miami had better hope that no one (especially in the frontcourt) gets injured.

No team can win a championship when one of their stars go down. I don't think they are worse off with an injury than any other contender.

And in an instant, LeBron's legacy goes down the drain

Enjoy being the most hated man in sports, LeBron.

What a [expletive] coward.

He really is.

The [expletive] about wanting to be the best ever, won't never happen. This [expletive] about comparing James to Jordan stops NOW.

How many titles did Jordan win without Pippen again?

Jordan didn't run away from his team to another team with 2 of the best players in the game after failing. And many people would argue that Pippen would never have been the same player had he never played with MJ.

Seriously - he just made sure Jordan will always be regarded as the best ever.

If the Lakers beat them in the finals a few times I almost think you'd have to call Kobe the best ever.

This is so awesome. I can't switch fast enough between the bar video, the Cleveland, Chicago and New York threads on realgm.

It'll be even better when they four-peat.

Is that before or after the NBA lockout/strike? I really hope the Owners deman a owner friendly CBA. I really hope the owners piss off the players of the players so much, that they are forced int a strike/lockout situation. Cause, the ghetto of the NBA, does not deserve the team that Heat or found a loophole to exploit.

And while I am at it...F---k you, Toronto.

Doubt it, but he would be in the conversation for 2nd greatest. I don't think Kobe can do anything to make people think he is the greatest.

guess who first broke the story?

stephen a smith

Oh god they're going to give him another show.

Quite Frankly, that's all they needed.

LeBron is still a prime candidate for being a better player than Jordan. He'll just never be a greater player.

Worldwide Wes should spend the rest of his career dogging LeBron and trying to wreck his [expletive].

Stick to hockey.

I think I'm gonna be a Miami Heat fan now that I'm all into this basketball stuff.

Woo Heat!

Well you are the bitch who said he was becoming a Cardinal fan. See ya bitch

it's really unfair that the blackhawks have to cast off a bunch of their players while miami can do this.

If you want to talk about cap circumvision, I wouldn't look too much further than the Keith and Hossa deals.

That's what you have to do to win a championship in a capped league.

The Bulls need to become aggressive in signing good role players to surround Rose/Deng and Boozer. Miami is going to be 3 deep and bunch of NBDL rejects. The Bulls needs to be 10 deep come the new season.

Rose and Noah, Wade/James and Bosh just dogged the crapped out of you two. What are you going to do?

you can admit it, it bothers you a little bit. come on, there's no shame in it.

Best case scenario, they're still not good enough to beat the Lakers next year. Then you have a lockout in '11-'12 and in '12-'13 Durant, Westbrook and the Thunder are ready to take over when Wade is 31+ and breaking down.

I forgot that Wade will be pretty old (in NBA terms) pretty soon.

LeBron hasn't smiled yet.

In some ways, I was hoping Ashton Kutcher jumped out of nowhere and tells Miami "You've been punk'd" whille James is putting on a Bulls hat. I know it's not going to happen, but it would be fun.

James is a coward, this needs to be said over and over to him. Oh and Noah....a perfectly placed Bill Lambeer special on Lebron and Wade would be something I wouldn't lose sleep over.
