Dwyane Wade has told two associates that he is now focused on recruiting a big such as Chris Bosh, Amar'e Stoudemire or Carlos Boozer, which effectively ends his attempt to bring in LeBron James.

I hate how the wiretap on realgm always puts stories into their own words. That's not what the tweet even said.

Woj basically said that didn't he? I guess using the phrase "effectively ends" is presumptuous though.

Flipping between NBATV and ESPN. Aldridge down playing the Miami super team and everyone thinks James to Chicago. He's also talking about needing a S&T to get Bosh and that Dallas and Houston will be players there.

Just get Lebron and I really don't care about the rest.

Setting up as Bosh to Miami, LeBron to Cleveland and Stoudemire, Boozer and Joe Johnson being the best available.

I dont see anyway Johnson turns down the max deal with Atl.

All Woj said is that he's putting his focus in other areas right now. Why does that mean he's ending his pursuit of LeBron? Don't most people assume LeBron won't sign right away? If LeBron is going to wait a bit, he doesn't need to focus on him right now.

Anyways, I think this is all moot. People seem to be overestimating the power of Wade. He isn't going to make LeBron's decision for him. I'd think anything he could do to sway his decision has already been done.

"Hey Bron-Bron... it's Dwyane again. Seriously, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease come here. Pllllllleeeease? C'mon dood"

I have a hard time seeing Johnson turn down 6 years from ATL unless he's going somewhere with one of the big 3

It's going to be hilarious considering he basically trashed the city at the end of the season and the fans already hate him.

ric bucher says lebron has told the teams interested that he wants to have a decision for july 5th.

Bucher is a moron. This morning on ESPN 1000, he said he would consider the Bulls offseason a success if they sign Joe Johnson and nobody else.

that guy just said that pierce opted out because of a shortage of talent on the market.

While a funny statement to be sure, when there are likely 10 max contracts to be handed out, there is a shortage of talent relative to the supply of contracts.

but the obvious reason is that the new cba is expected to be much less player-friendly.

I thought that quote was attributed to KC Johnson. That is moronic either way. Trade Salmons, Tyrus and Hinrich, renounce Miller, Murray, Warrick and Law, sign Johnson. Yay?

"you've never paid the luxury tax."

"quite frankly, if i'd paid the luxury tax, you ass, i'd be even more clueless than you about what the luxury tax is, what bird rights are, and how the cap can be exceeded, legally."

YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE PLAYERS ON YOUR TEAM BEFORE YOU CAN EXCEED THE CAP BY RE-SIGNING THEM!!!!!! you cannot simply pluck a player out of free agency and sign them to a deal if you don't have room. who should we have exercised bird rights on, jerk-off?

i'm speaking to chris broussard, btw
