Z would have to be considered a "big" name player.

 

The link says "semi-big." I think Z falls under that category.

 

Agreed, and if he knew that a suspension was coming, it could explain his poor performance to start the season.

I would think Z, Lilly and Dempster all fall under the "semi-big" tag, which is why this has me a little nervous, though I'm leaning to Z definitely not being it. I think the perception, for better or for worse, around baseball is generally that he's a "big name" because he's the de facto ace of the team. Edited by Sammy Sofa

If he knew it was coming, and MLB knew it was him, what would be the holdup in suspending him? Why would they wait this long, if, presumably, they've known about the failed test since Opening Day?
