Wait, wait, wait, Soriano is the one that just had a patient half-decent AB? Does not compute.

This [expletive] needs to stop, seriously. He's been just fine at ht plate this year.

I love all the people deciding post right now criticizing Soriano for his hitting when he is one of the few actually hitting right now.

Not criticizing him at all. If anything he looks more patient this year than anyone else, ironically.

The Cubs will never score another run as long as they live.

You act like we never post here...Yeah youre right, Soriano is the greatest of all time. His all around game is terrible for the money he gets. He needs to learn how to play the game of baseball. Ask Brenly how he feels about Soriano....

When was the last time Grabow didn't give up a run? Good god.

I was about to write that despite appearances, he's only given up runs in three of his appearances. Doesn't stop his ERA from being over 10

And yet in some of the appearances where he didn't allow an earned run, 1 time he allowed an unearned run, another time he allowed 1 of his inherited runners to score, another time he allowed a walk to the only batter he faced, and the other 2 times he legitimately pitched a solid scoreless inning, although he allowed a baserunner each time.

i know i've seen this stat before; does anyone know where to find runs allowed by inning? I swear the cubs allow 80% of their runs in the 8th.

This constant complaining about the way, form, timing, and/or substance of other posters' posts gets real tiresome real fast.

Not giving up in April by any means. But the stink emanating from this club is becoming very noticeable.

560 posts in 7 years. Yeah I would say you don't post here very much.

Has Soriano been living up to his contract? Hell no. Has he sucked at the the plate this year? No. Therefore people criticizing him as a hitter is moronic.

Oh and I forgot what Brenly thinks is gospel. Thanks for reminding me.

Kind of the point of a message board. People state opinions and others refute or agree with that opinion. People criticizing a player for not hitting when he is hitting is dumb no matter how you slice it.

Sorry I didn't realize I'm not allowed to be annoyed when people complain about things that aren't a problem.

Well excuse me for defending this country and spending a majority of my time over in Iraq and Afghanistan. I will be heading back again in 3 weeks. You have no idea what other people do...try thinking before you open your mouth. I have spent 17 years in the Air Force defending freedoms you enjoy...so keep on enjoying. Good day sir

It's going to suck when/if the offense starts scoring runs because then the rotation will starting getting shelled and it won't matter. It sucks wasting these good/great outings by the rotation just about everyday so far this year.
