If Orlando and Atlanta were too much for the Cavs, they probably would've done better than 1-5 against them this season.

Orlando went 2-2 against the Cavs this year.

and prolly Atlanta can both run Cleveland out the gym.

No. No one even in Atlanta believes this. This is coming form someone who lives in Atlanta. They know their limits.

Maybe the should start believing it. I really like the Hawks as a team, and they have the talent, the depth, and the athleticism to run Cleveland out the stadium. People wants to say Cleveland is that tough, but there not. LBJ makes Cleveland tougher they should be. If Atlanta does what Orlando did last year and basically say "F-Lebron this is our time" then Cleveland will not and cannot beat Atlanta.

With that said, I am not naive. Atlanta has to believe that, or unless they are still snake-bitten about what MJ did to some pretty good Hawks teams of the 90s that included Blaylock, Smith, and Mutombo. I still think Orlando will beat Cleveland, because despite acquiring Shaq and Jamison, the Cavs still have nobody who can stop or even slow down Howard.

Cleveland destroyed Atlanta last year and they'll do it again this year if they meet. Orlando I still give a good chance to but come on. No one can stop Howard? Howard can't even get out of his own way on the offensive end a lot of the time.

I think a lot of people are short-changing the Cavs.

How are we short-changing a team that everyone has already basically crowned the champs because of one guy?

The more I think about it, the more I think Cleveland is in fact the best team in the league. Orlando is not as good (in my opinion) as last year. LA is a year older. No one else in the East besides Orlando can really stay with Cleveland and I don't think anyone in the West has enough to go over the top against them unless Kobe has one more awesome Finals in him.

At the same time, Cleveland doesn't strike me as invincible, like last year's team (mistakenly as it turned out) seemed to me. They're a very good team that's prepared to combat every situation, and they have the best player in the league. I don't think they're world-beaters, but I think they're the best in this year's NBA, and that's all you need to be.

And after saying all that, they were still a fluke Jamario Moon performance away from possibly being 1-1 with the worst playoff team heading back to their place.

Really? Everyone's crowned the Lakers already.

Well after last year, absolutely nobody should be saying the Cavs are a lock to win the championship. I wouldn't be shocked at all if they lost to Orlando again, but the Cavs are still an extremely good team.

People shouldn't really be taking anything away from Cleveland for this game, but rather giving credit to the Bulls. We played a near flawless game on offense today for a team that lacks obvious scoring punches. I know they struggled with an 8 seed for the majority of the game, but not every 1-8 series is a cakewalk. I think we surprised Cleveland with the type of effort we gave tonight. Then LeBron just showed why he is the best player in the world down the stretch.

Yeah.

Unfortunately, I don't see anybody beating the Lakers.

Noah, who drew the ire of Cleveland fans by criticizing the city's lack of downtown activity, had 25 points and 13 rebounds.

Afterward, the most brazen of the Bulls, said he had no regrets about his comments.

"Not at all," Noah said. "You like it? You think Cleveland's cool? I never heard anybody say 'I'm going to Cleveland on vacation.' What's so good about Cleveland?"

Joakim Noah is awesome.

Not one of my finer moments when I ridiculed that draft selection, although 95% of Bulls fans hated that pick.

He's the man.

No one here is saying that the Cavaliers aren't good or extremely good. They're one of the best in the NBA.

What I am saying though is that:

1. They still have no inside game.

2. All they pretty much have is Lebron again this year with a bit of average (maybe one above average -- Williams) NBA players.

3. Cleveland regressed this year while Orlando pretty much stayed the same.

I'm not crowning the Cavs -- in fact I don't think they're going to win the title -- but Antawn Jamison is definitely "above average"

I remember Andy, and every other Bulls fan I know, complaining about that pick. I also remember arguing with Andy about it and bringing it up once or twice since he started doing well.

Noah's telling it like it is.

Ah I took your Noah telling it like it is as he was asked about Cleveland in post game and said that. Sorry it's late.

I wonder how you would rank Noah in that draft.

Durant is obviously ahead of him. As is Horford.

After that, its hard to say. Oden is better, but if he can't stay healthy, it doesn't matter.

There are a handful of players who are better offensive options like Jeff Green, Carl Landry, Thaddeus Young, Rodney Stuckey, and Aaron Brooks. Green is the only one who is a plus defender, and I'd put him definitely ahead of Noah as well. Out of the rest of the guys, you'd struggle to argue that their offense alone offers more than Noah's all around abilities. So I'd say Noah makes a strong argument as the 4th or 5th best player in his draft (depending on how you treat the injury prone Oden). Not bad!

Edit- Forgot Marc Gasol in the discussion too.
