That's why I was confused. I thought/figured you were a Bears fan. They led 7-0 and 14-6, but nothing more.

But I agree wholeheartedly with your main point. I'm too comfortable right now with the Hawks.

I was thinking the Indianapolis score in the first was a field goal and not a TD.

I'm waffling on how I really feel about the SCF. Neither team would be a walkover. Philly's got a deep team and two top-notch defensemen. Montreal has a hot goalie (sometimes) and a couple guys who can really finish chances.

I was pissed they didn't show the anthem last night.

I'll bet NBC does tomorrow.

And I just discovered that the [expletive] Cardinals are playing tomorrow on the NBC affiliate here, which bumps whatever NBC happens to be showing tomorrow at 2:00pm to a UHF channel that is, of course, not in HD. God I hate St. Louis.

What else can be said. Niemi is amazing and this team has "it."

RedFlash thinks we're winning the Cup, signing Lebron and Bosh, and that Cutler is going to go for a 70% completion rate, 5,000 yards passing, and about 45 TDs on top of winning the Lombardi Trophy.

And of course we're talking a minimum 8 peat by Bama football.

Right, that is what I said......

San Jose has gone 46:31 without having a penalty called against them. Not quite up to their 73:31 streak in games 1 and 2.

Which makes the Hawks 3-0 lead even more impressive, considering the refs seem to be on San Jose's side. I want to say it's because the Hawks are more skilled then the Sharks, and that might be true, but I think it's more about Q outcoaching the Sharks HC, more then anything.

I'm totally doom and gloom. All the experiences I have with my teams being in fantastic postseason position end with doom and gloom, so what else would I be? :) 3-1 in the NLCS! 11-point lead in the Super Bowl! Best team in baseball!

The Sharks forwards completely wet the bed on that final play, but that's what makes the Blackhawks the best team in the NHL, and why a lot of other great teams' fans underestimate them: Chicago's forwards are both offensively skilled and extremely defensively responsible. The defense of our forwards is this team's X factor, what puts them over the top.

Toews, Hossa, Sharp, Bolland, Madden, Ladd, that's two guys on every non-checking line that are elite or near-elite defensive forwards. And I wouldn't consider the other three guys to be defensive liabilities.

They are the reason we've played 3 games against the San Jose Sharks and allowed just 2 even-strength goals.

One even strength goal. The other was a delayed penalty, and 6 on 5.

This Hawks team is too young, too good, and too.......foreign......to fail like other Chicago teams have at the precipice.

......................................right?

Hey man I'm on your side.

off topic, but i had no idea that phoenix was thinking about moving back to winnipeg. that would be absolutely excellent.

now, they'd just need to get the nordiques back in quebec and it's all good.

Yeah, that's been around for a little while. The NHL, especially Betteman is determine to force hockey onto the citizens of Arizona. Betteman is trying to keep Coyotes franchise in Arizona, even tho the people of that state have never taken to the team. I mean PHX has had Wayne Gretzky associated with that franchise, and people still yawn. But Betteman is refusing defeat, tho. But I agree, Coyotes going back to the stomping grounds would be great for hockey. Move a couple of teams from the south back to Canada, or at least the Northeast.

Watching Philly and Montreal, and again I just can't see how these two teams are on the same level as San Jose or Chicago. Slow and bad.

So you're saying the EC team will sweep?

Anything could happen.

I'd much rather play Montreal than Philadelphia. The Canadiens are a bad team that got lucky/hot for a few rounds. The Flyers are a good team that had some injury problems and has had a ridiculously easy path to the finals while getting healthy at the same time.

Flyers are very capable of beating Chicago in a seven-game series. Not favored, or even close, but capable.

I don't think, regardless of who comes out of both conferences, I don't see the SCF going more then 5 games. Maybe 6.

Watched the replay so many times. Byfuglien had 2/3rds of the net to shoot at and darn near put it into Nabokov's arm.

Oh well, happens in the heat of the moment sometimes. He didn't and we won yay.

BTW, I love my new sig.

I love it too!

That right there is why the Blackhawks are a better team than the Sharks.
