I hate when the Reds make pitchers like Carlos Silva look like Cy Young. Happens every week or so with this current edition of the team. Not sure why, but I have a hunch it has to do with "being aggressive."

Reds batters improve this inning by making Silva throw 8 pitches.

Len was basically trying to "sell" the idea of Hill getting more starts, and I hope to God that was just idle speculation as opposed to something he overheard from within the organization. I don't care how bad Geo slumps, Hill is still so much worse with the bat it's not even funny.

What were the reasons Lou is giving out as to why the typical starters are getting benched already? He went off on the reporters yesterday for getting all worked up 2 days into the season. But then he responds by pulling this. I don't care if it is a day game after a night game, its the third stinking game of the year. He's going to get Geo, Soriano, and Fuke pressing.
