Some positives to take from today:

It looks like many of the hitters are taking a better approach in my opinion (minus Soriano).

Some of the relievers looked good.

The Cardinals bullpen sucks, still.

3.52 P/PA is not a good approach.

Lets beat that pink 2 headed bastard.

He's also Dutch, in case the Cubs needed another reason to beat him.

There are two things I can't stand. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.

I live in a college dorm. I can see Soldier Field, U.S. Cellular, and the United Center from my window. I do not get Comcast Sports Net.

Dammit.

The official roster has Marlon Byrd switching from no. 24 to no. 15, but that makes no sense on a number of levels. Typo or odd decision? We'll find out.

He heard the Cubs were hoping to retire Steve Buchelle's number 24 so he had to switch. In determing the number to switch to, he wanted to honor the legendary Julio Zutela and his slump breaking fruit voodoo.

I'd love to see Colvin and Baker start for Soriano and Fontenot.

Oh well.

Maybe Sori will do his little hop in the first inning and pull a hammy

Ahhh, we can dream.

Of the end of the season after 2 games?

No blackout out this time, so I can watch. I presume that was the only thing standing between the Cubs and glory on Monday.

Wait, are we (already) hoping that Soriano will be injured/benched? Geez.

I just want them to win so I don't have to read any articles like Melissa Isaacson's on ESPN Chicago for a while. Barf.

Goals for tonight:

1. Don't give up 16 runs.

2. Have Soriano look like he can hit a ball.

3. Catch pop-ups.

4. Win the game.

Goals for tonight:

1. Don't give up 16 runs. Soto has been given orders to hide home-plate if the score gets over 102. Have Soriano look like he can hit a ball. I E-mailed Atlanta pitchers and asked them to only pich fastballs across the plate

3. Catch pop-ups. I bought the team bigger mits last night, problem solved

4. Win the game.
