I personally would like to see it mirror college football to keep players around for 3 years, but I don't think that will ever happen, so getting rid of the rule altogether is the next best thing.

 

I'd mirror college baseball. You either turn pro out of HS or you're in college 3 years (I guess you could make it 2 years).

Totally random, but I just recalled one of my favorite live sporting event moments ever: michigan state beating Louisville to go to the Final Four a couple years back... What an amazing atmosphere!

Kalin Lucas had the night of his life. Purdue shot like crap (37% from the floor and 3-16 from 3). Purdue had 7-8 drives to the rim that drew fouls and the ball just missed going down. Shot HORRIBLE from the FT line (15-25). MSU won all the little battles. Purdue flat out got beat tonight in every facet of the game. Blocks.... assists... offensive rebounds... defensive rebounds... People not named JaJuan or E'Twaun shot 5-21.

No, it wouldn't. Not at all. College basketball was fine before the one-and-done rule and would be fine without the "stars." The NBA is dependent on stars, college basketball isn't.
