Good grief, this is just embarrassing.

Mizzou lost road conference games by 2(in OT) and 6 points, and in general of course having a 5 star player would have helped them, if for no other reason than they've played this conference season with 4 forwards on their roster.

Mizzou's offense is 3rd in the Big 12 in Points per Possession, behind KU and Texas. Even if you only include KSU's streak of success they still aren't as good offensively.

You need to figure out what high and mighty means. Please don't confuse "you are saying really ridiculous things a lot" and "you're wrong, KSU is the worst and Mizzou is the best!"

No one cares about pre-modern era final 4 appearances. One of the Final 4's you are including for KSU was an 8 team tournament. The other 3 were all 25 or less, and all 4 were at least 45 years ago.

If you can sit here and talk smack, then I can talk it back. You've been reasonable, never taking a personal shot. Butters on the other hand, that's all he and Snayke do.

I just hate retards is all.

Just as I hate [expletive] trash like you. I've never taken a personal shot at you. Your team is mediocre. You can't understand that. 8-8 is NOT good. Neither is only winning 2 games away from home. Neutral floors do not count.

I think if you've paid any attention all I've been the first Mizzou fan to admit that this team isn't good. I've been saying it for months. I've said they've got first day elimination written all over them repeatedly. Quit being a moron.

5 stars are guaranteed to help eh? Why didn't wally judge do anything for KSU? Selby sure as hell didn't help Kansas as much as you'd have thought he would. He was looked at as the 2nd coming of christ before this season, and he sure didn't make a 5* impact.

If stars don't matter, why did you make that post last week demonstrating that KSU would be good based simply on height, weight, hometown and star rating? Especially when they were almost all 3 star guys?

Because once upon a time Jacob Pullen was a 3* player.

You got this one right...

It's too bad you have to resort to name calling because you know KSU is a better team than Mizzou.

You guys will both have plenty of time to discuss this on the 2nd weekend when the big boys are still playing.

Can we get back to the important stuff about this week? Like the Sun Belt semifinals tonight?

You got this one right...

I've got it right about Denmon being better than Pullen, too. That's obvious to anyone who pays attention.

Denmon is a good player, better than Pullen, probably not. Pullen is the best defending guard in the league (maybe = with Balbay)

Pullen

PPG APG 3P% RPG BPG SPG

19.6 3.6 .376 3 0.1 1.6

Denmon

PPG APG 3P% RPG BPG SPG

16.8 1.6 .457 3.5 0.1 1.7

Denmon shoots the ball better from 3, both steal the ball at the same pace, Pullen scores more and dishes it out more than Denmon.

Look at Pullen as a Jr. with Clemente as opposed to Denmon's Jr. stats:

Pullen:

PPG RPG APG SPG BPG 3P%

19.3 2.6 3.4 1.8 0.1 .396

How you can straight up call Denmon a better player is beyond me.

Snayke, stop being obnoxious. Denmon's more efficient because he shoots so much less, the same way that Denmon is still better than McGruder even though they have similar efficiency numbers. Pullen isn't "10 times the player" Denmon is, but he is a bit better.

Something we can agree upon. Magruder is a good player and will improve, but I do not expect him to be quite what Denmon is next year before he is done.

How much less could he shoot if he's within 2.5 points of him?

About one less FGA and 3 fewer FTAs a game. Not a lot, but Denmon also has 3 extra possessions a game to work with. But "shoots so much less" was poor wording. Pullen's at a near 30% possessions used, and Denmon is around 20%.

You could've said that instead of having a knee-jerk reaction, since all I was looking at it is how Pullen's taken a whopping 34 more shots than Denmon.

Big 12 POY--who do you guys have? Because I'm seeing a lot of support for Pullen, which I think is a joke.

Jordan Hamilton, I'd pick.

It should be Marcus Morris, imo, but I'd have no beef with Hamilton.

I don't think there's a wrong answer between Morris, Hamilton, and Pullen. Without putting a ton of thought into it, I'd say Pullen/Morris/Hamilton would be my order.

Looking at it, the all-Big Ten first team is especially strong this year, and pretty clear:

Jared Sullinger

JaJuan Johnson

Jon Leuer

Jordan Taylor

E'Twaun Moore

POY likely either Sullinger or Johnson.

Robbie Hummel

Kramer will win the DPOY award again in the Big Ten this year.
