Obviously these will change based on tourney performances but any predictions on what teams in the Big Ten will be ranked next season? I have ...

Purdue (assuming the big three stay) - Top 5-10

Michigan State (assuming Lucas stays) - Top 5-10

Ohio State - Top 15-20

Illinois (assuming McCamey stays)- Top 15-20

Wisconsin and Minnesota I think both get some votes and perhaps Northwestern

I can't see any of the big three going pro this year. Purdue will start off in the top five.

That depends on what happens at UK and KU. Lets say that Henry, Aldrich, Cousins, and Patterson come back. At that point you could easily fall out of the top 5.

Is that you guys posting or did you let your one of your kids get on and post. You guys really are some of the best. I try to start a conversation and you guys make 3-4 posts that derail everything. Seems to happening a lot with my posts. Maybe you guys could stop trolling my posts and derailing threads or at least when you do it be creative.

Oh and SSR I got a serious question for you. Are you this much of a jerk in real life or are you one of those guys that needs to constantly make fun of people on the internet to make his pee-pee feel bigger?

Lol. Did Lewis Jackson average his 20 a game? Was I totally wrong saying we would have a first team all big ten performer? Is Purdue the best mens basketball program of all time?

Look, I'm sorry Illinois choked too much to make the tournament but you shouldn't make fun of fans of teams you are jealous off.

I'm not in anyway jealous of your program. I got to experience the thrill of going to a National Title Game while almost going undefeated along the way. I got to see our program produce a top pro in my lifetime. I was proud of you though for being able to finish above us this year.

What's there to be jealous of at Purdue. Painter is living off of the 07 class, and I've yet to see a kid who can play at that sort of level come in behind them. The lone exception being Teon Johnson. Great job reaching on Jay Simpson. Enjoy your three year run of relevance in the Big Ten.

I love they are excited for Anthony Johnson, who they only got because we filled our schollies with better players first. But, really they looked damn good without Hummel this weekend. I see no reason to be worried about the team going forward.

If there's a year for KState to steal the North, next year is it. KU loses Collins, 99% sure we lose Aldrich, 95% sure we lose Henry. Outside chance we lose McMorris.

We'll still have:

G Taylor (Jr)

G Morningstar (18th year Sr)

G Reed (Sr)

F Mc Morris (Jr)

F/C Mk Morris (Jr)

Honestly, Reed and Morningstar are better suited as role players. We'll need better players to step into their roles.

A lot of our success will depend on the growth of:

F Thomas Robinson (So)--Superb athlete. Better offensive game than I thought. Plays too fast. Intense rebounder.

C Jeff Withey (So)--Could be a big time shot blocker. Needs strength in a big way.

G Elijah Johnson (So)--Best athlete on the team. 5* Recruit who didn't see the floor much. Needs to develop PG skills.

G/W Travis Releford (Jr)--Great athlete. Redshirted this year. Hope he developed a shot and some handles. We'll need an athletic wing.

SF Mario Little (Sr)--100 years old. Redshirt Juco transfer. I like his game, but I don't think he can play the three, and that's where he could crack the rotation.

We also still have a shot at Josh Selby (kind of a taller sherron) and Brandon Knight (he'll go to UK). Either would start from day one.

I could see Johnson going pro, depending on what kidn of feedback he gets at the camps.

They don't get to go to the camps now before deciding to go back. It sucks, big time.

When did that change? Is there any sort of work-out that takes place now before the deadline, or is it basically figure out where you might go sight unseen and make a call?

This year, they talked about it on our scout board today in reguards to McCamey. It allows the college coaches to know what they have for sure for the next year now. I hate it. http://www.ajc.com/sports/new-ncaa-deadline-to-183639.html

Apparently they can work out with teams earlier now, but it would coincide with the players finals week in many cases.

NCAA, looking out for the kids!

Sad as it is, I haven't been able to check out the boards in the past couple weeks cause of how poorly the season was ending. I'm gonna assume Mike Shaw committed to us, and you've all just been holding in your celebration.

I wish, you should see some of his new highlights on there. He's a freak.

Dom Sutton is JUST as old!

Next year we'll look like this, one hell of a deep team:

PG: Russell (Soph)/Irving (Soph)/Spradling(Fr)

SG: Pullen (Sr)/McGruder (Soph)/Southwell (Fr)

SF: Sutton (Sr)/Samuels (Jr)/Southwell (Fr)

PF: Kelly(Sr)/Judge(Soph)

C: Asprilla (Jr)/Henriquez-Roberts (Soph)

The loss of Clemente is huge, but we are a very strong 2 deep at every single position. I can't wait to see how much Judge and Kelly improve after a year, as well as how McGruder improves. We're going to be pretty nasty. It's nice to have something to look forward to! Outside of Clemente we're only losing Colon and Merriewether.

K-State will take a hit if Pullen leaves early. That'll open things up a bit for Mizzou. I don't think Kim English will be as disappointing as he was this season. And Marcus Denmon will definitely improve.

KU will still reign supreme, though. That sucks.

Colon is addition by subtraction anyway, imo. I don't really see what he brings to the table.

Agreed, other than 5 fouls.

All time? I think so.

Since conference play standardized in 1939 (i.e. the NCAA tournament came into being), Purdue has finished ahead of Illinois 35 times. Illinois has finished ahead of Purdue 34 times.

Who's Asprilla? I don't remember him at all. Personally, I'd get Judge and Samuels on the court as much as possible.
