Judging by that video, it looks like he also turned into a white guy.

Ya he's looking good. Good to see

I know it wasn't intended this way, but these two posts in succession sure seem funny to me.

I would be honestly thrilled to have him post a line of .280/.350/.480 with 15 to 20 HR.

It was also nice to hear Lilly speak about his shoulder. Dempster seems ready to rock, and so does Byrd. We just need another quality starter.

Everyone would be thrilled with that. That's a fantastic line for a catcher.

Exactly. Considering his rookie year, hopefully he can achieve something similar to those heights again. However, I would be satisfied with a line of .260/.330/.450 with 10 to 15.

This is great news. Hopefully Z does the same.

You want Z to turn into a white guy? :-k

I don't understand. You want Geo traded to the pirates (carribean league)?

Will he still be able to earn his black guy?

I'm at the convention. In one of his talks, Lou mentioned that he was hoping for soto to lose 10-15 lbs. He barely even recognized him when he saw him recently and made a comment that soto looks like a jockey now, he's so small.

Great news.

Considering he was more unlucky last year than ineffective, this bodes very well for 2010.

I never thought he was particularly slow (defensively at least), but a slight decrease in his power could be overlooked if every other aspect benefited from his new frame.

I think any small decrease in power would surely have to be trumped by his increased durability and overall stamina from shedding 40 lbs.
