OK, anyone who hasn't changed the channel and has DVR needs to rewind it and go back to the Colts' 2nd and Goal at 14:15 left in the 4th. When the ball is snapped the RB Donald Brown messes up his blocking assignment and causes Peyton to go running for his life and WHILE he is running you can very clearly hear Peyton saying "G-D DAMNIT DONALD!!!"

ok, what was Deuce that kept getting word filtered in this thread?

Full back, minus the space, obviously; the filter censors any word starting with F and ending with CK

The playoffs thus far have sucked. I really don't see the Vikings/Cowboys turning into a blowout either way though. I guess it's possible Favre has a meltdown game along with a key fumble or two by AP but I don't see it.

The Colts are so lucky that they outplayed the Ravens in every aspect of the game. Lucky bastards.

no one's saying luck is the reason they won. they are obviously the best team in the AFC and they dominated today. all we are talking about is how every time manning threw a pick or the ravens got a big play on offense something went the colts' way. it's not a hard concept to grasp.

Yep. 17-3 and Manning tosses up a pick, but Ed Reed, normally a smart football player, fails to account for the possibility that someone might strip the ball from him from behind, so the Colts get it back. Then Manning tosses up another pick and Reed takes it deep into Colts' territory, but a Ravens player commits a dumb interference penalty that was unnecessary because the ball was tossed into double coverage anyway. If either of those picks had stood, 17-10 could have changed the complexion of that game.

But that's why the Ravens were the 6 seed and the Colts were the 1 - because the Colts don't do that. They are almost maddeningly machine-like in their ability to avoid backbreaking mistakes and kill opponents for theirs.

Actually it's words beginning with FU, not just F.

Garcon's play wasn't luck, he just played it perfectly. He didn't go up there wildly swinging his arms and happen to knock it loose. Dallas Clark getting plowed into, allowing Reed to then catch the ball, wasn't luck - it was plowing over the receiver which then made it easy for Reed to catch.

I understand what you guys are saying, but maybe luck just isn't the word you're looking for.

Perfect throw by Favre

It was, but also a poor play by the DB who never turned back.

It actually looked to me like he never even realized his man caught the ball, even after he went into the end zone.

Dallas picked a bad time to go back into their shell.

Just about one step away from Vikes/Saints for the NFC Championship.

Playing poorly would be one thing, but to show up in a huge playoff game and just hand the ball to the Vikes repeatedly is inexcusable.

Yeah, frustrating to watch. I would be really frustrated if I were a Cowboy fan

The thing is, for most of the game they've been outplaying the Vikings. They just can't stop fumbling or missing field goals or shooting themselves in the foot period.
