Braden Looper tells Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports that he would pitch for the Cubs. Looper says they're an "appealing" destination, partly because he has three kids going to Chicago schools. Still, the 35-year-old wouldn't mind pitching elsewhere. "I'm going to look around and see what my options are," Looper said.

Some moron out there will give him way more money than he deserves because he went 14-7 last year, while completely overlooking the 5.22 ERA and 1.49 WHIP. I hope this moron is not Jim Hendry.

If he's willing to pitch in middle relief (with a chance at a swingman role) at or around league minimum, that's a great idea.

But he'll want to start, or at least have a significant role in a bullpen. And he'll want to be paid a few million bucks for it.

Pass.

Of course he does, he probably knows the history of crappy middle relievers' pay here on the North Side. DO NOT WANT

Should I email a news source and tell them I want to pitch for the Cubs too? I totally live right around the block so it would be convenient for me, probably more so than Looper.
