You say Tiger should have foresight and not put himself in tempting situations, but you also say that he has no choice because women constantly sought him out. But he also, reportedly, met with casino owners who gave him private suites with ready access to women. Tiger sought these girls out because he wanted what he thought was the best of both worlds: married life and playboy life.

 

I never said he has no choice. Of course he had a choice.

 

What I said is that his lifestyle makes monogamy very difficult, and dramatically lowers the chance of a marriage remaining undamaged. Tiger took it way too far, but this sort of thing is hardly unique to him. I'd be willing to bet this didn't start out as Tiger planning to do it the way he did, but rather indulging too much when he realized he could.

 

Trying to remain monogamous when you are in a position like Tiger is just not a wise move, unless you are a person of unusual fortitude, or your spouse travels with you (which, when you have children, isn't real workable, either).

I'm sure she shares in the frustration too but I don't see where she explicitly said that she was frustrated by Tiger going with a bunch of white women.

 

There was no way a black woman was going to write a column saying that black women are mad at Tiger for marrying a white woman and then cheating with a bunch of white women without having that label of frustration slapped on herself (maybe if she were publicly gay, even then I doubt it).

 

I don't know anything about her so maybe she does have a history of writing columns that play the race card or are just downright racist. I think what she did write in this instance was fair game.
