As far as media sources staying mum on what they may know about Tiger's extra curricular activities, I can totally understand why they stayed quiet. If you want access to press conferences, interviews, etc... you can't be the guy who ruffles Tiger's feathers. You lose your access. And seeing a girl go into Tiger's room really isn't enough to generate a fact based article. The reporter would look pretty stupid and kill his career if he reported Tiger was fooling around when he has no idea what was going on in that room. Could have been Tiger's cousin in town for a visit.

Now that Tiger has allowed his private life to become public, all bets are off. While his PR team can still pick and choose what articles hit below the belt now that all of this is out in the open, most of these folks are basically spewing all the same stuff and probably won't be blacklisted from future press conferences, interviews, etc...

Even beyond the "access" question, if you break the news of an alleged affair without any apparant incentive or other story making that story newsworthy, then you are forever more the guy who tells on your for banging chicks that aren't your wife.

Yeah, that was pretty much my point.

Perhaps you didn't hear...HE JUST KNEW. Knew everything, and I tell you what just tore my heart out having to watch it all happen. If only there was a way to get that weight off my shoulders.

Apparantly, those are the first set of bushes Tiger managed to avoid.

HA!

Just to add a little more comic relief, that illustration looks eerily similar to the path I take when looking for my golf ball on the first hole of the golf course.

Jesper Pernevik is just killing Tiger.

"I have lost all respect for him, primarily as a man and a father," Parnevik said. "It doesn't even feel like it matters what he has done on the golf course. My respect for him as a person is gone. We have been nice to Tiger before, but now he only has himself to blame. We thought better of him, but he is not the one we thought he was."

Let me know when he wins a tournament since I have graduated high school (2001).

I don't think he was saying he's a better golfer.

Certainly wasn't saying that, but I can't wait to get Steve Pate's take on all of this.

You see no difference between Parnevik and everyone else on this?

His extremely biased opinions come off as nothing more than kicking a man while he's down and taking the opportunity to get into the spotlight himself.

Also, he played MATCH MAKER, its not like this is Elin's dad.

And he feels bad because had he not set them up, Elin might not be in this situation. It's understandable why he would feel this way.

I understand where he is coming from and would share the same feelings.

I think some may have read too far into me making an off handed, "I've heard enough from Jesper" type comment.

I actually really respect Parnevik for being honest. He also was not just match maker Elin. She was his au pair and evidently an au pair is veiwed more or less as family.

I meant in terms of having her husband cheat on her with multiple women, not in terms of getting millions of dollars.

Yep, Pernevik should say, "no big deal bitch got paid!!"

Well, no. I'm just saying I don't really feel that bad for Elin. If Parnevik wants to throw gasoline on the fire that's fine by me. Obviously, no pro at the top of his game will say anything negative about it (although Sergio might mumble something under his breath like the little girl he is).
