It sure would be nice to get to watch this Tennessee drive. Instead I'm stuck watching the Vikings hammer the Bears.

Chris Johnson should probably be the MVP.

If he somehow does get to 2000 yards, i dont know how you don't give it to him.

Some idiots are giving Vince Young most of the love.

For one, Peyton Manning.

I would say it depends on what Brees and Peyton do the rest of the way as well as if Tennessee continues to win. Both Brees and Peyton are leading undefeated teams and dominating while doing it.

He's been great, but still. 2000 yards is insane.

Peyton is right about on a 5000 yard pace. That's only happened once in league history. 2000 yards rushing has happened 5 times and 3 of those were in the last 12 years.

But by the traditional criteria of the MVP, I'd have to say Brett Favre should be the runaway frontrunner right now. His statistics are absolutely ridiculous so far this season.

If we're using the alternative definition of MVP (player having a great season who is also indispensable to their team) then players like Manning, Johnson, and Brees would have to be on top.

What a great way to win a game. A 99-yard drive that ended on a touchdown on 4th and goal from the 10. Great throws by Vince - especially on the game-winning pass - and a great catch by Britt in the end zone. One cool part of that drive was that the QB of the future (Vince) threw mainly to young receivers - Kenny Britt, Lavell Hawkins and Jared Cook.

5-6 now, third place in the division. We're one game behind the Jags for second and, I'd say, pretty clearly back in the playoff race. Again, though, we still have to win out. And that's going to be tough. We struggled to slow down Leinart and the Cardinals, and Peyton and the Colts are better.

On an interesting non-Titan note, the Jags losing today clinched the AFC South for Indy. With 6 weeks left in the season.

Well he did have 387 yards passing and a great last TD toss. I never thought Young would have 387 yards passing in a game.

In all honesty, we're probably 0-11 right now without CJ.

LenDale White is a decent RB and I'm pretty sure you would have beaten Buffalo with the cheerleaders playing.

In looking up the Titans schedule I noticed VY was the listed leader in passing against NE with 0. Figured it was a mistake and opened the box score. Has there ever been a game before where the teams leading passer had 0 yards and actually attempted passes. Or better yet a teams leading passer had 0 yards when the QB's had 2 completions?

Yeah but the Colts could be 0-11 without Peyton Manning. Well probably not, but pretty close.

While spending several minutes fellating Oher for being a useful rookie whose life was made into a movie, he jumps for an uncalled false start, which they call "getting off the ball quickly" ](*,)

Actually, it's happened twice. Brees had 5069 yards last year and came up just short of Marino. But still, point remains.

I really don't think we beat the Bills without CJ. LenDale is a nice complementary back, but he's been at 4 yards per carry one time in his career - his rookie season when he had 61 carries. In a full time starting role he could probably do better, but probably not significantly. He's just not a feature back and this team needs a feature back. Also, without CJs explosiveness, there are still very, very few weapons on this team. Britt is still developing and Young can't do it all himself.

We were up on Buffalo by 1 touchdown late in the fourth quarter before a pair of pick sixes (when the Bills were forced to do nothing but throw) put us well ahead. CJ had 232 total yards of offense in that game. LenDale doesn't do that and without CJ, we probably lose that game.

Yeah, Peyton is incredibly important to the Colts, as is CJ to the Titans. CJ should probably be the frontrunner right now, I think, but that doesn't mean I don't think anyone else should win it. There is definitely a valid argument to be made for Peyton.

I love comparing the reactions of injured quarterbacks when their replacements who A) won't take their jobs, B) could take their jobs C) are supposed to take their jobs come in a game and do well.
