Bears defense has allowed their most yards in a game since 1982.

The Bears have been blown out by more, but this is by far their worst played game of the year and that's saying a lot.

What's worse than the loss is hearing and reading Lovie' and Angelo' dumb-ass rationalizations and excuses.

"Look, there's still a lot of football left this year. We are nearing the end of the 3rd quarter. Obviously we haven't played how I know we're capable of playing, but there is still another quarter left to play this year. For us, the playoffs have started already, and we need to treat each game as a playoff game if we want to get to the playoffs. We'll work hard this week and get ready for the Rams next week."

So this game shows how far away from winning the division the Bears are. If they don't make big changes after seeing how dreadfully outmatched they are in their own division, can they realistically tell fans they are even trying to win?

I don't think they can.

"The Bears have three timeouts left but thankfully they aren't choosing to use any of them."

Yes, we are all grateful for the fact that from the middle of the 3rd quarter on it was pretty clear Lovie had no interest in trying to win this game.

Final time of possession is something around 41-19 in favor of minnesota. How do you let a team more than double up your TOP?

I think by punting a whole lot when you shouldn't.

The amazing thing is that Peyton Manning won a game like this against Miami earlier in the year.

Phoned it in the last 30 minutes, no question.

I'm not used to seeing Bear teams give up. Bottom line: not one dime goes to this franchise until I see improvements. Big improvements.

How can we even make improvements with no draft picks? Of course even if we had draft picks, we've proven to be unable to draft the correct players. We can buy a few FAs, but how many FAs that are legit building blocks are out there every year? A handful at most, and the best are probably going to be out of the Bears price range.

I'm not liking the Adams trade. That guy seriously needs to hit the weight room in the offseason.

I remember after the 2007 season, everyone wanted the Bears to go after Alan Faneca as a FA. The Bears showed zero interest in him and he went to the Jets to continue his run of being a very good offensive lineman. I often wonder how the look of this Bears team would chance if we had went after him and signed him. I know it's just 1 piece but it's a big one that changes some FA signings and a 1st round draft pick, all of which have been epic failures.

This still wasn't as bad as the Cincinatti loss with all the Benson love by the Bears - that clown was a POS in Chicago and deserved every bit of what he got.

Yep. My entertainment dollar will be going elsewhere for the forseeable future. Probably to the Hawks.

Alex Brown goes down for over a quarter of the game and not once do I hear Gaines Adams name mentioned. What was the damn point of that trade? Waste a 2nd round pick on maybe the 8th most important position we needed improvement at. And it's arguable whether the player we got will ever be an improvement or be worth a 2nd round pick.

I wish we could have moved Curtis Enis for a 2nd round pick 2 years into his failure

It's got to start with a GM and Head Coach, get someone who's capable of drafting the correct players.

Well I think they are planning on losing Adewale. It must have been a trade for next year. But the way Adams is playing, Mark Anderson is better.

Is Favre right up there in the MVP voting with Manning and Brees?
