Week 10: Bears @ 49ers (Thurs, 7:20 PM NFLN, WPWR)

It was a bad throw, but indefensible to force one on the last play of the game, really?

Okay, maybe not indefensible, but I'm just really beside myself about losing that game in that fashion. That said, Olsen didn't seem to be looking for the ball at all and hence I thought it was indefensible. Indefensible may have been a bit of an over-reaction.

All I'm saying is you really can't just take a sack there. Even if Olsen isn't looking, there were 2 defenders about to tackle Cutler, so he pretty much had to try something.

Cutler has struggled in 3 games this year, yes, but the line is just as much a part of it as anything, with their inability to block rushers or open running lanes. With no rushing game, the Bears are basically one-dimensional from the start of the game.

Obviously he couldn't take a sack, but you don't think he saw anybody else he could have thrown it to?

We're in total agreement as far as the O-line is concerned and how it affects the rest of the offense.

awful game. Our recievers are dog crap, and are way too young to be starting. Our OC is an idiot and our coach refuses to hold anybody accountable publically.

I'm done watching this season and I hope the bears lose every game from here on out. Change needs to be coming.

why so the Broncos can get a top 8 pick and laugh in our faces?

OH I forgot to mention, how about the stupid idiotic **** playcalling when Hester had a curled route, slipped and let an INT happen, then on the consecutive playcalls, called the SAME exact play that almost got INT'd again.

Man this team is brutal.

Pretty much.

He had Olsen open the second to last play and overthrew him. The game should have been over with a Bears win.

You're reaching, Troll. Olsen wasn't open.

A good throw there wins the game. He was open enough. Franchise QBs make that play.

I'm pretty sure they're laughing already.

by the way, forte [expletive] sucks. he can't do anything unless he is completely untouched for 10 yards and can gain speed. otherwise hes a slow useless 2 ypc rb.

I was one of the bigger Benson defenders on here when he was on the Bears. I said it then, I'll say it now.

Get Forte a line and we'll see how he does.

Although I wasn't exactly a defender of Benson, I've always believed he kinda got a bad rap as a runner given the run blocking.

I'm hoping the higher the pick the higher the contract Denver has to shell out for a 1st rd pick. And if there is a god they would get the Michael Crabtree of next yr's class. (extended holdout)

Like Orton? He'd have thrown it off someone's head for the TD, amirite?

You Cutler defenders still there?

Yeah. Now go away.

Why would you defend him? Because he has talent, talent he throws away consistently?

you're not acting very Jesus-y tonight

Jesus HATES bad lines and quarterbacking.

You're definitely a Bears troll. You've been called out on it in previous game threads. You've been called that by multiple people including people who've reported your posts in this thread.

And what the hell is the truth?

Forum trolling is a-ok though.

Lovie keeps saying that there's a lot of football left to be played.....is that a threat??

That made me laugh.

He is definitely the type of RB who does very well after he gets through the line and is in the open field but struggles if there isn't much of a hole (Addai is another). Some guys are good at waiting for a hole or creating there own but they are rare. LT used to be one in his early days with SD. I would say Gore is one because the 49er o-line is pretty crappy. It's a matter of the wrong type of RB for the team. Chris Johnson would be a better fit. That is not to say they would dominate with Chicago. No RB could. But I think they would be able to get 4 yards a carry. Forte is a good RB but not in a good situation.

Im not trying to be a ass, but alot of people in here owe me a "Im sorry ELCABALLO".

During the off season I mentioned how the Vikings are easily the fav to win the divison. And I got destroyed by basically everyone. The NFC North is the Vikings, a crappy Lions team and 2 not has crappy teams as the Bears and Packers. It sucks.

Who knows what might have been different if Urlacher and Pisa didn't get lost for the year basically in the first half of the first game of the season. I don't think the Vikings are as good as advertised (but better than the Bears). They should have lost 2 of the games they won, and could easily be 5-3 instead of 7-1. I know, should have but they didn't means nothing, but it leads me to believe the Vikings aren't as good as their record.

I could easily see the Bears and Vikings tied 5-3 in the division if a few things broke the other way. The talent gap isn't as big as the records indicate IMO.

It's the NFL. Most games are close and could go either way. Unless you don't show up or are playing a bottom feeder, each team is "in" the vast majority of games.

You're also ignoring that they very easily could have won the game they lost if not for some bad breaks at the end.

Makes the Bengals and Cardinals games stand out.

Crabtree's better than any of the WRs the Bears have.

Really, the only thing that pisses me off about this game is they wasted what was actually a decent defensive effort.

If you take away the Vikings Peterson and their lines, the talent gap is the same. Inother words there is an enormous talent disparity between the Vikings and Bears.

huh? You take away Peterson and their lines and Minnesota sucks. That is what makes them good. Plus taking away any good player (let alone Peterson) and the talent gap can't be the same because by definition the team losing the player isn't as good.

This is the first Bears game thread I've posted more than once or twice in and you have been here all of 10 minutes but I already want you to go away.
