Cubbiebum: Just. Stop. It.

You don't know what the hell you are talking about. You are incorrect about the impact of an o-line and the concomitant lack of a running game and, frankly, you're bordering on trolling.

Jesus Christ are you guys all dense? Like I ALREADY said that affects it. However he is not the only on in this situation. He is however the only one with this many picks meaning he is not doing well. Open your eyes and read what I am writing rather than jumping all over a statement that is fact. He leads the league in INT's and is not the only one with a bad o-line and running game. He is forcing way too much. It's not hard to see ... unless you have blinders on.

So is there any question that Forte is kind of a [expletive] and runs with zero authority?

There's been four or five times tonight where it looks like he's going to make a move through a hole and bust one and he gets tackled. He's got to hit the holes better (on the few plays a game where there is one.

I suggest we accept that he's not more than a mediocre runner. He's a good pass catching RB, and average as a runner.

I guess I just don't know what happened. I mean the line last year was better, but it was still awful. He looked great last year. I'm still hesitant to call it a fluke.

When they score Cutler will be losing this game 14-6 by himself

Yeah, that last pick was all on Cutler...

He's making risky throws where if one thing goes wrong it's a likely pick. Sometimes he'll make a great play and everyone will cheer, other times something goes wrong and its picked off. I've seen people make excuses for almost every single Cutler INT this year.

In the NFL almost every pass is risky. I didn't see anything wrong with that last decision.

One on one coverage wasn't bad but he underthrew it, giving the DB a chance to jump it. Like I said a lot of the time it's not a pick but Cutler tries to force throws all game and sometimes he's burned.

I don't understand, do people not give Cutler any fault for most of his 16 INTs this year? I fully realize a lot of other things have gone wrong to lead to his picks, but he's still the man making the throws and more importantly the decision to make the throws.

Punting time.

The Bears just cannot put all 3 phases of the game together at the same time.

Ah, there it is. The common refrain of the bad team.

I can't believe I'm blowing my evening on this crap.

Are you kidding me? I'm not trolling by any stretch of the imagination nor breaking any rules. I have an opinion that some disagree with, and some have agreed with as well. That is not banable. It is the whole point of a message board.

Brinoch..please let the non-Bears fans who are not very emotionally invested in this game handle it. I'm watching both sides..he's not doing anything wrong here.

And Cubbiebum, do not call people dense or anything like that. This is your warning on that.

I don't not blame Cutler for his picks, but I feel I spend more time defending some of the ones that probably aren't his fault because there's tons of stupid Bears fans out there who want to jump on Cutler for every little thing and still think Orton is/was a better QB, which it simply isn't true.

I asked you to stop earlier. You didn't listen. And to boot, you just called me dense. STOP IT NOW. My patience is at an end.

Actually his overall YPC weren't all that special. We tend to ignore that.

i agree with you umfan. but i'm not gonna panic over it. they need to figure it out for next year.

Olson also should have been more aggressive to keep Roman from jumping the route. There also should have been a flag for pass interference. I didn't think that throw was badly underthrown. An underthrow there is better than an overthrow (thus giving Roman an easy INT).

It's important to consider a receiver's role in interceptions and bad throws. If Olson is more aggressive with the ball and doesn't allow Roman to bump him off his route, that's considered a great pass by Cutler and it's a huge gain for the Bears.

I don't understand, do people not give Cutler any fault for most of his 16 INTs this year? I fully realize a lot of other things have gone wrong to lead to his picks, but he's still the man making the throws and more importantly the decision to make the throws.

He's throwing a lot of picks and he definitely makes a lot of bad decisions. Not all have been his fault, though.

Not only was his YPC all that special but it was below average. We attributed it to the opponents stacking 8 in the box and assumed it would get better with Cutler. Instead it got much much much worse.
